JBN is a very nice hostel so big for a small city. The problem is that there isn't a kitchen.
great hostel. clean, and with a nice big breakfast included in 7 bed room. bed was comfy enough and there was a really big pillow. No lockers as such, but there was a safe, and I felt pretty secure about just tucking my bag under the bed, as i had valuables with me during the day. On the last day the coffee machine for breakfast was broken so I was made a delicous latte by the bar staff. only real downers- staff not always around, and you could only get wifi signal in the common room.
I was only in Chur one night and just needed a place to sleep. It's a quick bus ride from the train station--3 or 4 stops. Bed was comfortable and bathrooms were very clean. There is a microwave and water boiler in the common room to make some food, but not full kitchen. Breakfast in the morning included two rolls, cheese, and coffee. Staff was very nice. Good overall security. Wi-fi did not work for some people. I'd recommend this place.
The comfiest bed I stayed in throughout my travels! It was in the middle of the week so there weren't many people around, so it was nice and quiet. Not the best for meeting people, but perhaps that would have been different it it had been a weekend.
This establishment is located in a very pleasant town with a two pretty big & good supermarkets less than 10 minutes walking distance (about 3 or 4 blocks away). The hostel itself is located in a night life area of the town so not the quietest so just close the windows and use AC at night. WIFI not reliable. But in comparison with all the other lodging options, this was the best deal and would probably stay there again next time I am visiting.

Clean place to stay and good location near train/ bus station but pretty average for price. Switzerland is expensive so may account for high price. Wifi was okay and there was a computer you could pay to use. Breakfast for private rooms not dorms. Staff was nice but didnt speak much English. Could place to stay if in transit to somewhere else in Switzerland.
Wasn't exactly value for money in terms if other things you have to pay for and the breakfast was ver average. No wifi in room. Went to order a meal for dinner at the bar and they didn't have the first thing I wanted or the second so I was left with chips which were average. Then staff member tried to overcharge me and only noticed when I pointed it out. On the plus, bathrooms were fine, bed was comfy, good location
