Trying to get into the hostel was such a hassle! The reception was only open from 2pm and we arrived in chur at 12 so we had to hang around for 2 hours with our luggage. Then when we came back at 2 we had to phone a number to get let in! If you don't have a mobile phone you can't get it. The bathrooms weren't working, the toilets weren't flushing. It was cold and the beds were very uncomfortable. The hostel cost over 40 franks per night per person. I reckon you could find a cheap hotel instead.

With a friendly atmosphere partly determined by a small bar on the first floor of the hostel, the upstairs bedrooms were very quiet, clean and newly renovated with little reason to fear intruders. The breakfast was filling, and the location not far from the center of Chur made the city easily walkable.

The place is not so far from bahnhof , but located in the red light area of the city, surrounded by at least three night clubs. Anyway, a bit expensive for this condition.

Fantastic clean hostel! The rooms were stylish and clean. The staff at the bar was friendly and helpful. However, they're only available after 2pm-ish. It's a quiet hostel when I stayed as there weren't many people there. Lovely common room with big TV. Good breakfast. Very good wifi in the room even though not available in a different room. All in all a great place - i highly recommend it!

Pros: GOOD LOCATION (only a 15minute walk from the train station, located in the historic centre of Chur), AMPLE MODERN BATHROOMS (large showers, new streamline bathroom furnishings, etc.), CLEAN & SPACIOUS (especially the bathrooms and dorms), GOOD AMENITIES (ie/ wifi, lockers, ample power outlets, etc.) Cons: NO KITCHEN Overall: 8/10 - I would stay there again.
