I can definitely recommend JJ's. All the staffs were very kind. The only thing is that hostel is a little far from the central part of Cairns (it takes AT LEAST 20 min to walk). But the hostel has its own free shuttle buss almost every hour in the morning and in the evening instead.

Dont go there. So far from the cbd and the man from reception is horrible. He take us 20dollars to get wifi ( it was 10 but we was two so he ake us pay it double just for use the same tablet) and it was not working properly, in fact the guy say us after we pay that sometimes on the night its not working, and its right it was not. Peoplefrom the staff was partying all the night so you can't take any rest and the hostel is so poor you dont have any space or transat to lie down and enjoy the sun.
