I found the staff to be very helpfull and the facilities were great. Was very happy.

Emily at the service desk helped us a lot when it came to bookings tours and pickup and things like that! It was a nice hostel but the comfor of the rooms differ, our first room was Very varm(only fan) But the other one was great ( fan) We where a little disappointed about the false signs and comercals around this hostel. For example: Om the brochure it said "get 5dollar of with this brochure, valid for minimum of 3nights stay" "ask for free accom." and "early breakfast" we coldnt use any:(

T he accomadation was clean and well maintained, shower/toilet area's were cleaned everyday, staff friendly and helpfull. Pool looked good but we didn't actually use it. JJ's was good for us as it was not right in the CBD but close enough to everything. The meal voucher for the Woolshed was great and we had an enjoyable evening there. Would recomend JJ's to family and friends wanting a budget get away. Many Thanks for an enjoyable stay.

Excellent hostel, with extremely friendly and easy to get on staff! Very clean. Only one downside not every room has aircon! Very good value for money.

FANTASTIC hostel! LOVED this place. The staff is amazing. They are super friendly and helpful at all times. They really go above and beyond here. Everything is very clean and up to date. Free shuttle from airport and free luggage storage. The hostel is a little outside of the city center, but they offer a free shuttle into town which is great! Otherwise the walk along the water doesn't take too long and is quite nice. Had a wonderful time at JJ's thanks to the amazing staff and great atmosphere.

This was one of the best experiences I have had. The staff were very helpful, cheerful, friendly and the accomodation was excellent. I highly recommend JJ's to everyone. My holiday accom arrangements fell through so I was looking for the cheapest deal...and I'm so glad I stumbled across JJs. I am definitely going back to JJs the next time I am in Cairns!!! I have met some wonderful people and am staying in touch with them too. Cant wait to go back!!!!! KIWI NESS ROOM 2A ..miss my room already!
