JJ's was great! Upgraded me to a better room as soon as I arrived, the staff were all very friendly and helpful. It's a little further from the town center than many of the other hostels, but they make up for it by offering a free shuttle to/from the town center. I highly recommend them and had a great stay there!

Emily at the service desk helped us a lot when it came to bookings tours and pickup and things like that! It was a nice hostel but the comfor of the rooms differ, our first room was Very varm(only fan) But the other one was great ( fan) We where a little disappointed about the false signs and comercals around this hostel. For example: Om the brochure it said "get 5dollar of with this brochure, valid for minimum of 3nights stay" "ask for free accom." and "early breakfast" we coldnt use any:(

Thank you for your comments, we are happy for your feedback :o) You booked the 5 share dorm which is our budget dorm option. All our other dorms are $22 which you was put into after your trip so you therefore got a discount in that room of $4 per night. The brochures do state that you must book direct to get the $5 off but you had booked via Hostelworld, I am sorry for this :o( You did also get free accommodation as you booked a 2day/1night reef trip and got a FREE upgrade to 3days/2nights plus an additional $20 discount from JJ's for booking with us. I hope this helps a little and that you no longer feel disappointed or disillusioned :o)

T he accomadation was clean and well maintained, shower/toilet area's were cleaned everyday, staff friendly and helpfull. Pool looked good but we didn't actually use it. JJ's was good for us as it was not right in the CBD but close enough to everything. The meal voucher for the Woolshed was great and we had an enjoyable evening there. Would recomend JJ's to family and friends wanting a budget get away. Many Thanks for an enjoyable stay.
