staff were very helpful, friendly locals, great locations in the centre of town.
Simple and cheap place to stay. A negative point is that the staff speaks poor english or no english at all. When booking tickets at the hostel, don't do it on the telephone. We should get our tickets for the ferry the next morning, but they forgot about the booking. Good Wifi in the sitting area.
Reception area downstairs is great - bar, tour area, cool seating area. Room wasn't great. The only ‘window‘ was into the hall and it was made of 7 or 8 glass panels that opened like a blind so it didn't keep any noise in or out. Also apparently hot showers aren't included with every room. We had a 2 bedroom private but were told we had to have cold ones even though the place was practically empty.. Staff were helpful with booking tickets.
The hostel is situated at the slightly quieter end, which is great as it's within walking distance of all the action but is nice and chilled to return to. The staff were all really friendly and helpful and made us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. The room was brilliant, really spacious and very clean. Definitely recommend a stay here!
Perfect for a stop over from the airport, thats about it. It's clean, has basic facillities and a nice bar downstairs with a chill out lounge. Bring your own towel!
The staff was amazing and very patient with our attempts to learn thai. Also very helpful with activity planning, the owner even drove us to the ferry station for free because the bus was full. Very good place to spend a few chilled out days before mastering the islands.
Adequate accommodation within walking distance of the main streets and markets.
This is an ideal location for if you are in search for a basic, clean and cheap hostel. Great price/quality ratio.
Stayed for 1 night as a stop over for Krabi airport. The staff were so friendly and helped us so much. It was very quiet, I suppose this is because it was low season and that Krabi is a slightly less touristic place. Anyway, it was just what we needed for a nights stay - would recommend to anyone for a night or two in Krabi.
We stayed in the "Standard Double Bed Private Ensuite" which was nice and large, with air con and towels included but no window. It had about a million mosquitos in it, but nothing a mosquito coil from the convenience store next door couldn't fix. Owners were super friendly and organised tours and taxis for us, but were not always around and anyone could walk in. Not much going on nearby but close enough to the bus stop to Ao Nang. Hostel is nice but I would not advise staying in Krabi Town.
Stayed just one night on my way from Singapore to Koh Tao. Walking distance to night market and shops. Friendly and helpful staff (fixed tickets to Koh Tao without problems). Room was pretty standard and overall pretty clean. OK option for a night or two.
Excellent value for money we stayed in a fan room for 125 bt which was clean and comfortable, the wifi was okay and the staff were very happy to help. In a good location close to night market and weekend walking street market :)
There isnt a lot to do in Krabi but this is a good stop over to or fron the islands. The staff were really friendly and helpful. The hostal is right in the centre of Krabi so you can easily walk to all the shops and markets.
The staff were unfriendly and unhelpful. Owner doesn't listen or respond well to concerns. The room on the 3rd floor was hot, bed was horribly hard, and the windows didn't close at all. Overall would recommend staying elsewhere.
A little further away from the main area than most hostels, but still very easy walking distance to the markets and restaurants. The rooms are nice with aircon and ensuites, and the wifi reaches the rooms on the 1st floor, but not the 2nd. The reception doesn't always seem to be manned, and they half-heartly try to sell you some tours or onward travel, but we found cheaper elsewhere. Not much to do in Krabi apart from markets and restaurants. If you want a beach you need to go to Ao Nang, Raile
We book 2 nights in JP Mansion, close to the Buddisth temple & night market. Unfortunately, we got room 103 (no window - pay attention to your reservation when booking! Due to this we moved hostels that night ( hostel was fully booked & could not change to another room). Thus, cannot really comment on the hostel, but I will say that the owner is quite nice and helpfull. He returned the cash for the 2night and helped us with a tour for next day. He speaks good english.
Extremly nice and helpful Staff. We had a nice stay and will recommend this Hostel to our friends.
Good hostel and value for money. Close to night market, although krabi is small so there is not much else to do there except day trips to the islands. Clean and shower was good, did experience a power cut for a couple of hours one night, but think this may have been the street not just the hostel. Wifi wasnt great and cut out every now and then, but for anything important we just went down into the common area where the signal was better.
