There isnt a lot to do in Krabi but this is a good stop over to or fron the islands. The staff were really friendly and helpful. The hostal is right in the centre of Krabi so you can easily walk to all the shops and markets.
The staff were unfriendly and unhelpful. Owner doesn't listen or respond well to concerns. The room on the 3rd floor was hot, bed was horribly hard, and the windows didn't close at all. Overall would recommend staying elsewhere.
A little further away from the main area than most hostels, but still very easy walking distance to the markets and restaurants. The rooms are nice with aircon and ensuites, and the wifi reaches the rooms on the 1st floor, but not the 2nd. The reception doesn't always seem to be manned, and they half-heartly try to sell you some tours or onward travel, but we found cheaper elsewhere. Not much to do in Krabi apart from markets and restaurants. If you want a beach you need to go to Ao Nang, Raile
We book 2 nights in JP Mansion, close to the Buddisth temple & night market. Unfortunately, we got room 103 (no window - pay attention to your reservation when booking! Due to this we moved hostels that night ( hostel was fully booked & could not change to another room). Thus, cannot really comment on the hostel, but I will say that the owner is quite nice and helpfull. He returned the cash for the 2night and helped us with a tour for next day. He speaks good english.
Extremly nice and helpful Staff. We had a nice stay and will recommend this Hostel to our friends.
Good hostel and value for money. Close to night market, although krabi is small so there is not much else to do there except day trips to the islands. Clean and shower was good, did experience a power cut for a couple of hours one night, but think this may have been the street not just the hostel. Wifi wasnt great and cut out every now and then, but for anything important we just went down into the common area where the signal was better.
Thank you for having us! Great hostel, perfect for a short stay in Krabi. The owners are very friendly people.
Nice clean hostel. The staff were really friendly and helpful for information and booking trips or tickets.
It was good value for money at 400 Baht for a double en-suite, which was clean and had a great hot shower. The location is good for the main shopping street but a walk to the night market is around 10 minutes. There are many hostels and cheap restaurants nearer there. Overall happy.
Nice, cheap hostel. Owner speaks good English.
We stayed in a stuffy windowless room (don't get #303!!). The bathroom was across the hall and felt unclean. The wifi didn't reach the room, and there was no hot shower. Overall a very depressing experience.
Nice hostel to stay in for a few nights. Nice common area and good location, clean big rooms and really nice, helpfull staff. Would definately stay here again if I would go to Krabi again.
Ok Place for a stop over I would use it again
Nice clean room a short walk from the night market where you can go for meals. There is a cool bar on the ground floor where you can chill out in the evenings.
Only issue for us was that the wifi did not work in the rooms. A very nice hostel with an inexplicably low price. Staff were very friendly and helpful.
The staffs are very friendly and helpful. Narin booked a one day tour for me and gave me a special price. The hostel is cozy and clean. The wi-fi network is only available around the common room and the floor is so sticky and I don't like it coz' I have to use my sandals to walk around the room.
The atmosphere is okay, not many people hung out in the common area, made it seem like no one was there. Hard to connect with people. The staff left at one point and guests were looking for them for check out and such. Makes you question if it is safe to leave bags there for the day.
Nice hostel with very nice owners. Our room was big and clean, AC worked properly and the bed was really comfortable. You can rent a scooter nearby and go to Ao Nang or take a boat to Railay. Also there is a bar downstairs with peaceful atmosphere. The problem is that wifi works mostly in the bar, it's problematic in the room.
