Lots of people staying in the hostel are living there - so it's hard to meet backpackers/travelers, and also the dorm rooms were really untidy as people had made themselves at home for months. Lacked atmosphere, staff weren't helpful. There are better hostels to stay in Sydney for he same price.

Great location! Staff was always super friendly and helpful. The rooftop deck was amazing but most importantly the area is the best. If you're looking for a fun place to stay with the city and beach close by this is a perfect area. The city is within walking distance and Bondi is only a 20 min train/bus ride away.

Staff great and helpful, wifi good, kitchen small but clean. Rooms far too small, stayed in a tiny 4 bed dorm. Lack of plugs, hot, cramped, tired.

Decent hostel, great location, but lacking atmosphere. Some long-term guests were being really loud making it hard to actually sleep in the dorm, luckily the situation was handled well by the staff. The rooftop is pretty cool.

Good hostel except for the small dark room with only 1 plug socket under 1 bed.... Not ideal

Fantastic stay here. Staff and long term stayers are so friendly and welcoming. Only bad thing is there is v little natural light throughout hostel but overall excellent value for money!

I really loved this place. Loved the atmosphere, the staff was really helpful and I've met a lot of new friends. The roof top was awesome with bbqs and drinks up there and it was nice just to out there.

Cleaning started at 10 but it took 5 people coming in at different times to clean the room without knocking. Really annoying if your trying to get stuff done, why can't 1 person do all the cleanin in 5 min instead of over an hour?

Nice hostel! Right next to the subway station which is really convenient. The breakfast could use some improvements like fruit salad and possibly filter coffee. The atmosphere is really cool! There is a room with Netflix! The only other minor thing is that about 60% of the guests are homeless foreigners work-holiday visas. 10% of which work at the hostel. They are fun people and it creates a fun atmosphere but it makes is difficult to meet other backpackers. Overall a good hostel!
