When we arrived at the hostel, there was an old lady and her son to greet us. They only spoke spanish. They didn't even know we had a reservation at the place. Their sign said $15 a night, but they insisted we pay $18 AFTER showing them our reservation. She didn't want to honor the 10% deposit and couldn't even give us the rooms we reserved. After telling her we were going to take our business elsewhere, she threatened to call the police because we had our passport numbers in her "cuaderno".

I gave It a very poor rating, because they are constatly overbooking their facilites. I had a reservation for the new years eve. When we came there there was no room. I have snt them an email 3 days prior or our arrival, and they answered that everything is ok and that they are expecting us. Much to our dissapointment that was not true when we arriverd. People staying at the hostel told us that a lot of people had similar problems. The overn then found us a room in the town.
