Basic facilities in the room, i.e. no fridge, kettle, mugs, or tea. Otherwise, reasonably clean, decent breakfast, friendly staff, and a good location. There are a few supermarkets nearby (though everything seems to close at 1930), the city centre is 10 mins walk with a few bars on the way, while the area around Jacobs is quiet. Walls and floors in the hotel are extremely thin, though this seems to be an architectural quirk of Bruges'. Also they have strange soap that never washes off.

I have nothing but amazing things to say about Jacobs Hotel! My friends and I were so pleased with our stay — the staff were SO accommodating, giving us excellent advice and help in finding our way around Bruges, and they even went above and beyond to change the parking card's clock in our car for us before it expired! The facilities were very clean and cosy, and the breakfast was delightful. I've never been more impressed with the value for my money in my travels than when staying here — GREAT!
