Off-the-beaten-path type of stay while still centrally located- everything we were looking for. We had a wonderful stay & the family running Jade are super... both in character & helpfulness (Thank you once again!). A fresh market, grocery bakery & internet are all quite close and the only heads up is that it is a 10-15min walk to the Metro so after a long day of walking about it seems to take some effort. That being said hopping a cab is always an easy option! A lovely home away from home.

We loved our stay at Jade. Jade is run by a lovely family that speak English which is very useful. The room itself was lovely, with a comfy double bed (soft pillows and a nice duvet cover!), and lots of personal touches. The location is great too; it is situated in a nice family area which is very safe, with lots of restaurants and shops within walking distance but still very central, and it's only 15pesos in a taxi to the metro. If you want to experience real Mexico City choose Jade.

This was a very cute little hostel. The host family was awesome--very helpful and very accommodating. The rooms are very simple, very clean, very quaint. The best part was the little fresh fruit market about a block away--everyday we had fresh fruit and smoothies for breakfast! I definitely recommend this hostel. The only down part was the distance from the metro--it was a bit of a walk, though taxis are always available.

Room was good, but the bathroom setup was a little strange - shower over a bath with nothing to stop water from going all over the floor and into the \"bedroom\". Lovely cats. Very quiet, ideal for non party-type travellers.

It was very nice hotel. The room is minimum but cute and the family was kind and helpful. I really recommend this to whom have a lot of time to see around the city and need atmosphere like a home. They could even wash our loundries by 20 pesos per time. The location is only the disadvantage for us. The nearest station is not the center of the city. And it takes about 10 minutes to walk. Some Japanese might feel uncomfortable without door between bedroom n bathroom. Anyway we enjoyed very much!

A beautiful little guesthouse with friendly, helpful owners. And the little walk to the metro station suited us fine as it meant we walked past a great bakery to grab some breakfast! The next time I am in Mexico City I will definitely stay at Jade.

This was my very favorite place to stay during my entire trip to Mexico. Run by a warm and charming family who did everything to make our visit pleasant, the place has a wonderful home-like feel while maintaining privacy. Peaceful, quiet, and cozy, with beautiful rooms and the use of a kitchen! I thoroughly enjoyed the neighborhood, too, which is refreshingly tranquil and untouristed, while not far from central areas. All and all, a haven in which to relax and rejuvenate - highly recommended!
