Well, hostel is located in great area close to the train station, however cleaning it's very poor . Toilets and showers are very dirty and looks like cleaning it's very needed. Besides that rooms need more ventilation cause not much windows are available and nights are very hot.
Stayed in 40 bed form, very noisy (more than expected) only shower facilities only in one of the two 40 bed dorms and no cubicles/privacy whilst showering not ideal and not a lot of sink space. Hardly any socket points and wifi was hopeless! Bar nice if a little over priced. Staff very helpful and excellent location only a few minutes from station and approx 10-15 from city centre shops and attractions. Location redeeming feature!
perfect location, nice people, free shot at the bar ;-) but wifi is not working properly and its very loud so you cannot skype or anything.
i stayed in a 40 bed dorm as i was only there for one night to take a bus early next morning. so its a budget hostel and if you don't expect much from it, you'll be fine.
Friendly helpful staff, great downstairs bar and common area. Had to go into the other dorm for showers and not many toilets for a 40 bed dorm. the dorm was not so bad just no power points.
Rooms are very very basic. As a group of 10 we had to pay an UNEXPECTED £200 deposit upon arrival incase we "smashed a window"...crazy! Perfect for the train station, and if like us our last destination on a long trip. But wouldnt recommend for a 'party' location.
Very few bathrooms for so many beds!

Good location if you get the train, cool bar and helpful staff. Rooms comfortable and modern.
Great location. Friendly staff. Not the best place for solo travellers as communal areas are not really set up for meeting people. But overall a nice place
We were very happy with our stay. We are a couple (age 27 & 31) and stayed in a private room/private bathroom, and it was as nice as any hotel we have stayed at. I enjoyed feeling like I was in a clean & safe hotel, with the fun atmosphere of being in a hostel. The staff was very helpful in their suggestions of places to eat & go out for the night, as well as information on the local transportation. We loved our stay in Munich overall & can't wait to go back... and we will definitely stay here!
I stayed in a room which include 40 beds.Ofcourse my expectation is not so high because of money.İt was cheap and good for that money.I would add one addtional point,There was not an air conditioning and it affects your sleep very much.I waked up more than 5-6 times at that night because of the hot!.
Honestly I have been in better hostels. They charge money for lockers per day, and sometimes the staff is a bit rude. However the location is very good due to the proximity to the hauptbanhof. Maybe I'd go back to this hostel but they should provide a good internet connection, sice at the moment I couldn't use the wifi.
First of all check in is not until 3pm so you have to sit and wait forever to get in. You have to bring your own padlock but if you havent it costs 10euro deposit to borrow one :-O You get what you pay for, and this is certainly the case here. If you just need a Quick night sleep on the Road its fine, but i dont recommend for a longer stay since there is so much noise (in the 40bed dorm).
The setup of the girls bathroom is uncomfortable. The hostel can easily install shower curtains so that guests can shower in privacy. The fact that guests must walk through the open shower area to get to the toilet is also strange but can easily be improved with a shower curtain. The washer/dryer needs to be replaced. Dryer left clothes soaking wet (even after two spins) and I had to use the staff dryer. Would be nice to have a kitchen too.
I had good time.

I only stayed one night, but the location was great, right next to the Hbf (main station). I stayed in the 40-person room, only because there were no others available, but it wasn't that bad. The room is partitioned by walls, so it's really more like four 10-person rooms. I was a bit hesitant to stay here at first after so many negative reviews for the room, but I thought it was fine for a short stay. I wouldn't have any qualms about staying here again. The location makes this hostel.
The only complaint I have about this hostel is that the internet didn't work *anywhere*. Not in the lobby, not in the rooms. This was frustrating, but the in-hostel bar was great and the staff was friendly. We stayed in one of the huge dorms, but felt that our belongings were secure. The bathrooms/showers were kind of gross, but that's really just the result of 40 people sharing a shower room. Drains didn't work well in the women's shower. Location was great, easy access to main train station.
Couldn't be happier. Excellent facilities, cool staff and cosy environment. Very recommendable.
The bar was good, and conducive to meeting new people which was great. However, the rooms were dirty -- I was in one of the big rooms... And the bathrooms were pretty disgusting. I didn't even want to shower in there. It was locker room type showers with no privacy and you have to walk through the showers to get to the toilets. I hated that. The only outlets are at the end of the room so you don't really want to leave things plugged in, and the lockers were basically all broken.
Really expensive and then you have to pay an extra euro to drop your bags. I wouldn't stay here again.
