Great location, great social scene. Don't be afraid of the 40 bed dorm room, there was plenty of room and privacy. Staff was very helpful and accommodating.

Good hostel to stay in, but I under no circumstance would recommend staying in the 40 bed hall... I've stayed here twice. So, just go for the regular 12 or 8 bed rooms, and spend that extra 2 euros. Otherwise, good luck getting an ounce of sleep.

Jaegers is a very nice and well located Hostel , you can basically walk everywhere from the hostel, if you dont want to walk, 2 min away there is the central train station. About the 40 beds room, it was really hot inside that you have to hug your water bottle instead of a teddy bear :) the air makes you always dried out, but it worths sleeping there compared to the winter time in munich :)

I stayed in the 40 bed dorm for just one night. Not much to say, I just needed a place to stay. Good enough. Very close to the train station.

I stayed in the 40-bed hostel room, and it really wasn't as bad as it sounds. They sectioned it off, so it didn't get too noisy. Bathrooms were okay-- not overly clean. Only a handful of outlets for the whole dorm room, and the wifi was spotty. Still, it was the cheapest bed I found that night.

I was checked in by the world's rudest receptionist. There was no wifi in the 8-person dorm on the fifth floor. The bathroom smelled like urine. They played loud music in the bar area even when it was empty, making it difficult to do work. And why was I doing work in the bar? Because it was the only place I could find a faint wifi signal. However, the hostel was the cheapest I could find in Munich, so I guess you get what you pay for.

Although it stayed at the dormitory for 40 persons, it was not annoying considering the number and was comfortable.

Overall a good place. Bathroom was a little small for the 40 person mixed dorm and outlets were rare. Internet only works on the main floor. Otherwise a good place to stay and the bar on the main floor was amazing. Highly recommended.

Loved this hostel! Very cool staff and the place really lived up to the "Jaeger" name with the free shot of Jaeger on arrival and cheap drinks at happy hour. Would stay here again!

I think that the location of this hostel can barely balance the dirtiness of the rooms, the lack of some facilities (microwave, kitchen, also the rooms are very small) and the ridiculouse wifi connection.

Dear guest, thank you for your feedback and for staying at Jaeger's Hostel! We are very sorry for the inconvenience according to WIFI (we are more than working on it!!) and dirt in your room. Last thing always can be reported to our staff and we clean the rooms asap again. We try best but shared rooms always have the risk of become a mess pretty quick. Just let us know and we clean up again asap! Best regards The Jaegers

Too cold at night in the 40 bed dormitory. People were too noisy. Maybe the hostel must encourage to keep the respect and the silent from 12:00 to 8:00.

Dear guest, thank you for your feedback and for staying at Jaeger's Hostel! We are very sorry for the inconvenience according to cold and noise. Usually our heaters should work pretty good but 40 people need to decide if windows are open or not - that is quite an issue :) We also have security to keep an eye on loud folks but 300 guest on a weekend night is a bit loud no matter what. Please always feel free to complain at reception and we'll send somebody to clear these things immediately! Best wishes The Jaegers

I only stayed one night at the hostel because I was passing through Munich, but if I am ever to come back I will stay here again. The bartender was a great guy, the atmosphere was very welcoming, and the rooms were clean and equipped with everything I needed.
