Location is fine, within walking distance to most things. Bathrooms full of mould and smelt, very little privacy in showers. No wifi in basement 40 bed dorms, had to go to reception to use Internet.

Amazing location, right next to Hauptbanhoff and an easy short walk to main places like Marienplatz. It's full of cheap places to eat nearby, so that's good! It's very expensive for what you get... A crowded room, rather messy, very noisy, emergency lights on all night, showers in my case were in the other dorm, and very messy bathrooms. It was 20 euros a night and I got the feeling it should've been somewhere around 10. The bar is pretty cool though.

The smell of the restrooms was terrible. It was extremely hot inside,in the lobby, and there was no air condicionair. Also the lobby was too loudy and noise with terrible songs playing in the max volume. At the room, even in th summer, they only provided hot blanket/eiderdown.The loudy sound from the bar goes strait to the rooms. Also,he had to enter in the other room to take a shower.I can't imagine how disturbing it was for people in this room.No security inside the room with giants windows wide open

I definitely preferred the hostel next to jaegers called wombats. Where Jaeger's seemed to be a place only for pre-game shot madness, wombats accommedated to all groups, including partiers

This hostel is special. You get 40 beds in one room and anything can happen, both good and bad things. Security in the hostel is not very good and the cleanliness is almost inexistent. The 40 bed room has common showers, gym style, where you can see and can be seen by others showering. As well this showers are pretty disgusting on its cleanliness. Anyway it's cheap and the staff and the bar are pretty nice though. Location is not perfect but ok. Putting money for something better could be good

Location is excellent! Just two to three minutes walk to the central station. the 40-bed room is quite hot in July without air-conditioner.

The people there are really nice, however, the 40 bed dorm is very noisy and it's nearly impossible to sleep at night and sleep past 8am in the morning. The shower room has no doors too. The staff there are very helpful and people there are generally nice. It's very near HBF so I guess it makes up for all its shortcomings.

Lively hostel, suitable for younger travellers wanting to meet others and socialise. Only stayed here one night so didn't spend a lot of time in the hostel. Perfect location, walking distance from the station.

Wifi worked in only the lobby but not the bedrooms. All the floors and toilets were filthy. The showers were NOT private. Those were the only downfalls. However the staff were friendly and helpful, the lobby was cozy and enjoyable. They have amazing beer. It was okay.

Great place with good staff, bar and cool guests. if you are young and don't mind the company of other young people, I recommend Jaeger. breakfast not included. might be noisy from other guests, but not from traffic.

Had my iPad stolen so a little bias - stayed in the 40 bed dorm, two dorms share the one bathroom I walked in and walked right back out, the dorm it's self however was clean and spacious. The wifi works really well! And there is a good atmosphere around the bar, brekkie is good just a bit over priced

The only thing that bothered me about the hostel was the mustiness of the girls' bathroom on the lower level.

DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOSTEL. Large windows line all of the dorms which are constantly left open. Local thieves regularly enter the building (at least weekly) and raid peoples bags while everyone is asleep. When I woke up on my final day my wallet and phone had been stolen - other people lost computers, iPads and multiple pasSports. The staff were useless with this despite it occurring every few days- DO NOT STAY HERE, IT IS NOT WORTH YOUR LOSS. Also disgusting bathrooms.

Two main drawbacks. The first one: THE BATHROOMS. I took a 6 bed mixed room and the bathroom was always dirty, the curtains were really disgusting and each time you take a shower you ended up with all the floor splashed with water! The second one was the BREAKFAST, you've to pay 5€ and there's almost no variety in the meal, just juice, bread, jam, cheese and ham, coffee (without milk) and some other two or three stuff... I don't know if I'd recommended this place, it's not bad but it's not good.

The hostel had an awesome atmosphere, and the staff was incredibly friendly. The only thing I did not particularly like were the showers. They were all in a straight line only separated by one small wall, so it was not very private. But that is a rather small detail. The bar downstairs is awesome, and I met really cool people. I would definitely recommend it.

This was the worst. The bathroom was covered in mold, hadn't been cleaned in months. I took pictures. Dirty used band-aids in the showers. The showers were on a 1min timer and wouldn't stay on to rinse. When I addressed the condition of the restroom with the staff, I was told it was clean. I paid for 3 nights, with a plan to stay 4. I got a hotel. They give a free shot to make it better! Dump!

Jaegers hostel was interesting. I stayed in the 40 person room, which was loud, the lockers didn't lock but the atmosphere was great. It's located right next to the station so it was easy finding my way back but the neighborhood was interesting. Lots of kebabs and brothels. The wifi only worked in the lobby and went in and out, but I made some great friends and would definitely recommend it. Received way more free shots from them than just the one for staying there.

I was in the 6 bed female ensuite. Came at 3 and beds were sill dirty. Hair all over the bed. Had to ask them to clean it. Lockers in rooms are much smaller than in the courtyard. Air conditioning is a plus. Good zone by good grocery store but no kitchen in hostel. Keycard erased itself everyday. The elevator worked the first day then broke and they fixed in a day. Other rooms were very loud. Elevator covered in puke one day. Won't be coming back.

The beds in the 40 room bunk were horribly uncomfortable. The environment was very rude and the other people staying there were very disrespectful. The staff were great, but could do more to make sure that the guests are polite and kind to each other.
