Location was fantastic, Sky Sports on in the lounge all the time, great bars nearby, right on the main U-bahn and S-bahn lines and close to the Marienplatz. I had a terrible time here. My friend and I stayed in the 40 bed room because everything else was sold out and it was dirty, dark and the floor was all sticky... The door on the bathroom was broken, and the internet only works upstairs, not in the rooms. What's more, we were woken up at 1:00 am because some drunk guy peed on one of the other guests! Will be nice to have a kitchen for cook.

The hostel was clean & relatively secure. Great location! Good directions from the station & good directions from the staff. The bar was laid back and friendly staff. The only complaint I would say is that the size of lock needed for lockers was unclear. We wound up having to buy one from the hostel itself as the one we brought was too big.The hostel was clean & relatively secure. Great location! Great stay, spent 2 days in Munich for Oktoberfest at Jagers. The facilities were clean and nice.. The staff was friendly.. The atmosphere was ideal for the 18-25 age group. I was in the 40 dorm and it was very unsafe (no door lock, always open), many of the lockers didnt work and it felt a bit like a celler. I really enjoyed my stay at Jaeger's hostel in Munich, but there is one thing that can be annoying if you are a singel traveller and would like to sleep at night - it's really too noisy. What about ameliorating the insulation of the windows so that noises from outside don't disturb the sleep of the guests?
