This is, quite possibly, the most disgusting hostel I've ever stayed at. Bed linens that clearly have not been washed in over a year, filthy bathroom, and no windows. Just utterly vile. AVOID. I ended up moving to a hostel run by the Israel Youth Hostel Association. Best decision I ever made. I should also note that there are absolutely no refunds. I suspect they have this policy because they know people leave after 1 or 2 nights because it's so wretched. Again, DO NOT STAY HERE!

I haven't seen such a dirty place in my life after have visited more than 16 countries and have sleept in more than 20 hostels in the world. There are only 3 rooms with windows but you will only have the opportunity to sleep there if you pay a fortune. In other words, it\'s not a hostel, it\'s a cave. No way Jose !!!!!

I had a great time staying here and would probably stay here again if going to Jerusalem. The staff was always friendly and very helpful and had answers to all questions about the city.

Overall - a great place; when I'll return to Jerusalem this is where I'd like to stay. Location is awesome, rooms are clean and comfortable, staff is friendly and helpful. We had a late check-in - and this was the best check-in procedure in my life. The only complaint is about payments - cards aren't accepted, and exchange rate is noticably higher then at money changers; so changing money and paying in local currecncy is a bit expensive, however you can pay in USD - this should be cheaper.   Read Owner Comments

i didn't sleep in the jaffa gate because i wasn't married with my boyfriend. Every couple is allowd to sleep there unmarried exept wehen your boyfriend is arab.... i losed my money and walked in the middle of the night on the street in Jeruzalem. I know the management can't chanche the discrimination of the arabs, but the website didn't tell me about this very strange roule.

Great location, very friendly and helpful staff, great view. BUT! Rooms are shabby, clammy, very small and dark, since there are no windows. Moreover, we slept in two rooms and in both were bedbugs!Toilets and showers are also a nightmare. If I can recommend - avoid.   Read Owner Comments
