Very nice and helpful staff. The cleanest hostel we've seen so far! Great atmosphere, well equiped kitchen, comfy beds, awesome rental bikes (they should have lights though!). Music/Radio throughout the hostel could be reduced at some point...or a broader variety within the playlist. Thanks very much, it was a great time for our stay in NZ, especially for young people!! Obviously, it's really cool to spend the night in a converted jail. Personally, I thought the place was a bit overrated (or a bit expensive for what you're actually getting), but it's a unique experience that's worth a visit if you're in Christchurch.Obviously, it's really cool to spend the night in a converted jail.
