They overcharge for every little thing, like a taxi,food,internet. Its much better to walk down the street and get what you need on your own. Second, they never have change for you, theres always a story and when you leave they still don't have anything. This place is cheap but a big hassle. Here you get much less than what you pay for. There aren't a lot of options in Dar and this one is a bit over priced for what you get, but again there aren't a lot of options. The rooms look pretty dirty but they are clean just look dingy. An alright place to stay for a night maybe two. I thought the hostel was very well taken care of and it was great to have a restaurant and internet cafe connected to it. If I ever return to Dar es Salaam I would definitely stay there again.
