We liked staying at the hostel, mainly due to the privacy and quiet, and the good location

I loved the hostel due to its socialness since it has a huge area for everybody to hang out and get to know each other. The breakfast good be a little bit bette for my taste and the coffe was kind off watery. I loved to stay in a smaller room in Jangadeiro Rooms since its closer to the beach than the main hostel Tirol and its great if you like it a little more quiet. It wuld have been great though to also have internet in the Jangadeiro Rooms.

The room is small, very small. It´s better to rent an apartment or flat.

The owner and the staff are very nice and very helpful. I recommend to take the 4 bedroom in the other house. The location is great.

It was a great stay. We stayed over Christmas and the owner was so so so helpful, as were all te staff. Would definitely stay again. The room we stayed in had no window BUT it had a new air conditioning unit that worked extremely well!!! The window would have made it too hot. We missed the light but it didn't matter with the air con and it meant you got up and went to the beach and sunlight faster!

This place is a great deal, it's very quiet and calm (so you don't go there for the atmosphere) and the personnel is very discret (you won't get pampered, but it's very respectfull). It's near the beach, and the "center" (but Jericoacoara is so small that everything is near the center..) small but clean rooms, clean bathroom, really, don't hesitate, go there! (and for the facilities (internet, kitchen and atmosphere), you go to the partner of the hostel, "Tyrol"(it's a 2 min walk...)

Excellent. Very quiet and 'calm', hence the lower scores for atmosphere and facilities, but for me that was a positive nice and quiet. This hostel is partnered with Tirol up the road. That's the party hostel, great hammocks. Gaucho and Priscilla are lovely hosts.

Great location - right in front of a bar that plays live music. You can just sit outside the hostel and have a few drinks and enjoy the music without having to head into the bar. Able to use facilities at Tirol which is an awesome hostel as well as the wifi. Cool kiteboarding school / guys that hang out next door and Priscilla who runs the place is hilarious - make time to chat to her.

lovely place and staff! Very clean and calm! Good to have the connection with Tirol hostel!

The rooms are really small. It is ok for the price, and you have the common area of Tirol hostel, which is very nice. But notice that the Tirol hostel is 100m up the street, so it is not the same than staying in Tirol and having there the hamocs :). The room was a bit noisy, very close to the street.

gaucho - the owner - is simply amazing! helpful, friendly, caring, nice, etc. whatever you need (in my case e.g. organise barbecue, private buggies for a trip, kitesurfing gear, bottles for your homemade caipirinhas,...), he will help you for sure. common area in pousada tirol, where you have breakfast as well, is perfect for meeting people.

The place and the service is really kind and heplful. The atmosphere is wonderful :) The kitchen is very comfortable and fully equipped. We spend a great time in Jeri. Muito Obrigada por tudo Gauxo and Priscila!!! Hope you continue as friendly and happy :) Beijos!!!!

Jangadeiro is a quiet 4-room hostel, by the same management as Hostel Tirol. I had my own room with a bathroom down the hall, at a great price. Very small, basic room, but it was private, clean, and well-ventilated. The only downside was no WiFI in Jangadeiro. But, access to Hostel Tirol on the same block, which is a great hangout place, with breakfast, Wi-Fi, kitchen, hammocks, etc. The staff (Gaucho, Priscilla, Carlos, Maria) were great and made it feel like home - wish I had more time there!

I actually stayed in one of the dormitories in Tirol and it was great! Very comfortable and a great atmosphere for backpackers and other travellers who want a social atmosphere. Gaucho is very nice and helpful! He is always there working and helping guests with anything they may need. I really recommend this hostel!!

The bunk beds are to high. When people arrive you should give people more information about the city, where to go what to do. That is always a nice extra

Very nice staff, kept very clean. All the other facilities are at Tirol which is awesome. Thanks for the internet, gaucho! Really loved the electric plugs hanging above the hammock space, so handy!
