I wish I could recommend this hostel because the $3 dorm rooms would normally be a very good deal. However, the security at this place was terrible. The dorm room has a sliding glass door which had fallen off it's hinges. There was nothing but a curtain separating us from the mosquitos. And since the room is on the ground floor accessible directly off an alleyway from the street, and the front desk is upstairs above the room, anyone could have walked in off the street anytime of day!

the jasmine family hostel was one of the best hostels where we stayed during our holidays! the owner/the family were so nice and friendly, they offer very good food and a lounge where you can relax very well! (free internet, pool, tv, comfortable couch - perfect place to chat with other travellers) we enjoyed it a lot!!

If you want to stay away from Siem Reap's infamous Pub Street this hotel is well located on National Route 6, and is only a 10min walk back into town should you want to explore. The dorm room is ridiculously cheap considering you get free breakfast, + free wi-fi. Share bathroom is not the cleanest but if you've been traveling a few weeks you wouldn't even notice. Private rooms also cheap (+ clean). Great upstairs deck for chilling out. Well priced tasty menu. I stayed a 2nd time on my way home

You pay for a hostel and receive a very nice hotel! One of the prettiest rooms we had in Cambodia, with a beautiful garden upfront and a nice lounge area. Breakfast is in the hotel on the other side of the road, which is not really a problem. Excellent wifi. Only minus: a twenty minute walk from the city centre. But this also means your bike ride to Angkor Wat is ten minutes shorter...

Water pressure is non-existent at times, but that seems to be true for the whole city. Sheets looked dirty and there were odd stains on the walls. We woke up with bites. Aside from all that, we loved it. The atmosphere was great and the free breakfast every morning was legit. The staff is odd, sometimes friendly, sometimes not. They have these 5 gallon jugs of water that are plastic wrapped to prove freshness. they break the seal which basically ruins all that, so who knows? I got diarrhea.

the room was really clean and fresh, the bed was comfortable and we had our towels changed everyday. the staff was very friendly and helpful, they arranged the pick up from the airport and a tuk tuk for angkor the following day. the restaurant is very nice, food is very good and cheap! The only down point was the bus we booked for Bangkok. It was supposed to be sleeping bus and it ended being a local bus, very unconfortable and overpriced. other than that I would stay again without a doubt

The owner Kunn was a very friendly man. We were scammed by a tuk tuk hostel in Siem Reap and he was very understanding as to why we didn't show for the first night which we thank him for. Great place, lovely free breakfast, clean and spacious rooms at a good price. Everything we could of asked for! Thankyou
