Jazz Hostel & Apartments Reviews

First of all, everything you have been reading about Jani is true, the guy is great. As soon as our car pulled into the carpark he approached us with a handful of maps and a huge smile, took our bags to our room and helped us plan our activities based on his local knowledge and his personal recommendations. I'm talking bus timetables, value for money restaurants, best view of town and even adjusted the itinerary according to weather conditions so we would get the most out of our stay. Amazing.

Had a fantastic stay, and the owner Yani was very friendly and helpful.

Could do with new pillows with covers but absolutely awesome accommodation with a great bar attached.

Jani was the most helpful host we have met during our 3 month trip, helped us sort out our onward train journey and all his other suggestions were spot on.....and Bled and the surrounding area is amazing.

Great location with a short walk to the castle and the lake. Our room was a decent size and the beds were comfortable. The hosts were friendly and helpful, with great advice on where to eat and what to do. Would definitely recommend this hostel.

Room is clean, always are hot water, staff is very friendly and helpfull. The lake is about 10 minute by walk. We visited the recommented places around Bled, and this was beautyfull. We are planning to come back later :)

Really nice, low key hostel with a fantastic staff. Jani is one of the nicest people I've ever met, and he will help you with your travel plans, logistics, booking activities to do while in town. He really could not have been more helpful. I had a really great stay here, I'd one hundred percent recommend it to anyone.

Very welcoming Good value for money

Basic but good facilities. Very friendly staff! The pizza place suggestion was excellent. The recommendation on the other fish and meat-place, with 10% off, was not so good.

Magnificent location, Owner was possibly the nicest person I have ever met. Willing to help with any queries we had, and even sorted out a new better room for us when a different guest wanted to stay longer. Great facilities, nice little Bar across the Yard.

Jazz hostel was an amazing place to stay, it was peaceful and extremely clean. The owner was always friendly and helpful, he made us feel so welcome and even helped us organise our train schedule! I would stay here again

We stayed for two nights in the 'Standard Double Bed Private' which were actually two seperate beds. The room was clean and there was a small safe in the closet. There were two showers, two toilettes and a fully equipped kitchen. Free internet was available at the computer in the hallway. The owner was very nice and helpful. He gave us a map and showed us some places to visit and to go out to eat. It's a 5 min walk from the bus station without sidewalks at a narrow road. Near a supermarket.

Jani is an amazing host, incredibly helpful, he even dropped us at the bus station on our last day. The hostel is very very clean and homely. Quite quite but that applies to pretty much all of Bled. We stayed an extra night and would stay again.

Amazing hostel, the best we have been to in Europe. The room we had was big, the kitchen had everything you need, it felt like more of an apartment. The small bar next door is also well priced with a relaxed local feel. Bathroom was superb, host was more than superb, and its the place to stay if you are heading to Bled. Only thing it could have used it a balcony overlooking the mountains. Jani you are the man!

An excellent welcome and lots of information. Easy walking distance to the lake and a minute from a supermarket. Good clean facilities with lockable wardrobes and a nice kitchen. Would definitely stay again.

The owner Jani was massively welcoming and helpful. The hostel itself is pretty nice, only about 5 mins walk to the lake.

Great place to stay, very helpful hosts!

jani is extremely nice and helpful! rooms were clean and location is excellent - up the block from the bus station near all the other hostels. probably one of the better hostels in europe!!!
