Jani who owns this hostel is super friendly and helpful. He gave us great information about what to do in Bled.

Oh! It's a very nice hostel. Near to the bus station, and easy to find (despite it's little tiny sign.. kk.. ) and especially, you'll meet a nice guy, Yanny(I don't know the spelling)!! He is the host of Jazz hostel, and get you what you need whenever you ask. We booked 2 nights, but I fell in love with Bled, and liked so much this hostel, so I stayed one night more. Near hostel, there is a nice restaurant, "Murka" and a cafe "Simon" with bear picture where you can have a Bled cake.

I would 100% recommend this hostel to anyone. The staff are absolutely FANTASTIC! They are so caring and genuinely lovely people. They upgraded our room from a standard double room to an apartment, just because they happened to have one free on that date! And they only charged us the price of a standard room! Absolutely lovely atmosphere and great location. I am definitely planning to go back there soon, it feels like staying with family!

Janez, our host was an excellent one, very helpful and friendly, gave me important informations about where and when to go, where to eat cheap but good food etc. The room is clean and in a very good condition, a bit walk to the lake but it's not very far from it. I was very satisfied, I can recommend it.

First of all, everything you have been reading about Jani is true, the guy is great. As soon as our car pulled into the carpark he approached us with a handful of maps and a huge smile, took our bags to our room and helped us plan our activities based on his local knowledge and his personal recommendations. I'm talking bus timetables, value for money restaurants, best view of town and even adjusted the itinerary according to weather conditions so we would get the most out of our stay. Amazing.
