jeezee.. Where to begin? The location was good, i can't say much about cleaning bc we only stayed there for a night.. The rooms where totally okey. But the stuff.. Wow that was something, they where rude, unhelpful and they didn't let you go outside on the patio after 10pm..

Despite its amazing location the hostel is riddled with cockroaches. The staff were unsympathetic , they were rude and unhelpful. We checked out after the first night (booked for 7)

I travel a lot all around the world and Ive never stayed in such a bad hostel. The place is very desorganized. When I arrived, I was given a bed, when I went upstairs, someone was in my bed sleeping and all the other beds in the room were used before. It seems that rules are not followed or applied in this hostel. Mainly what really called my attention was the staff. All of them seem to hate to work there, were very rude and not willing to help at all.

Great location, nice atmosphere. Quite expensive for a hostel, but I guess its hard to find cheap hostel in Miami.

No outdoor area, only a few tables without chairs, bedbugs, broken locker, old kitchen BUT next to the beach, good breakfast!

The bathroom tiles were falling off. At night, roaches were crawling out of the crevices from the broken tiles in the bathtub. The drop ceilings were also moldy and 3 of them were missing. The shower curtain rod was brittle and every time you moved the curtain rust and broken brittle plastic would fall in the shower. This is one of the most run-down hostels that I have been to in my life.

This was my first ever experience in a hostel. I must stay it was the worse experience that I’ve ever had with accommodation through out my travels in USA. The front desk lady was very rude and wasn't very helpful. She shouldn't be front of house staff!!! The only good thing that came out of this bad situation was the awesome travellers sitting outside gave me some sunscreen! I will never reccommend this hostel to my travelling friends.

The Jazz on South Beach Hostel is well located. The ambience is pretty cool and I have definitely appreciated the little terrasse, which is a real plus. It's a nice hostel, even if it was quite busy and pricey when I was there, due to the world music conference, the spring break ...

I was not really happy when I lost my flight to Miami and after that I sent an email to Jazz hostel, saying that I missed my plane and I was fliing in next day first flight. EVEN I sent the email the staff cancelled my reservation! I thought this was incredibly insulting to the customer, I had to wait from 10 AM untill 3 PM to see if there was room for me...... disappointing!

I had stayed on this before and that's why I decided to book it again. But this time I had an horrible experience. The last day I stayed there I woke up with rashes/bites on my legs and arms. I am thinking that it could of been bed bugs. It look horrible and I its just itchy all over my legs that I just wanna cry. So please owner or who ever please change the matresses or clean around the area I do not want other people to experience my situation. It was room 204 bed L or K it was the bottom bed

if you are a spring breaker this place is perfect for you. but if you are a traveller go elsewhere. it really only caters for the young american party types and isnt suitable for meeting other travellers or getting a good nights sleep. there are organised partys at night clubs but they are not the best or cheapest places to go, it feels like they were always trying to scam money of you buy going on these so called 'exclusive vip offers'. i felt like as a backpacker i was unwelcome.

Horrendous! I have stayed in many hostels over the years and never seen such rude staff (especially one specific girl who I cannot believe works in a hostel for a living and speaks to guests the way she does!) on a positive note the location isnt too bad and free pancakes but it has got to be one of the worst hostels I have ever stayed in.
