The location is great - 5 minutes from the beach! I didn't like the fact that there is only one kitchen on the floor for everybody - if someone was cooking, the whole floor was smelling like food! And if you want just to have a coffee, you can't do that in your room because food and drinks are not allowed in the rooms. The staff is not very helpful but actually, everywhere in Miami the service is pretty bad if you don't look rich ;)

Very good atmosphere. Nice people to meet there. Washing machines and dryers available. Breakfast consisted of two small pancakes. Tour offers for nights out seemed a rip-off. Apparently they only took this one hostel and put all guests into an (admitedly very nice) club, where no other person went. Rooms were allright. Common for a hostel. Beds were shaky and uncomfortable.

Guys Daniel and Rafael are great and helpful! The hostel itself has a great location, water refill at the lobby, free beach towels, for breakfast 2 freshmade panckakes. But no free computers to use - 2$ for 20 mins, room lockers are very small. Another good safety deposit lockers at the lobby for a fee. And very-very loud and noisy roomcleaners... But I would recommend it.

Had fun because of location and friends but staff were atrocious. The big night shift guy often was intimidating and threatening. Place was dirty and for some bizarre reason the security safes display your private code on the screen! Main issue was the staff though, they were rude, uninterested and some could barely speak english.

Good hostel, great location. I know it's not the hostels fault but there are a lot of weirdos staying there! I also think they need to enforce age restrictions because they call themselves the #1 party hostel but 50% of the guests are 35+ !

Had a great stay at The Jazz on South Beach. Great location, near the beach and the famous Ocean Drive. Simple hostel, but good value for what you pay for it. Nice shower, clean. Friendly staff.

Hi, my name is Talita, I stayed at the hostel for around 6 days and was awesome! I had a lot of fun and I really liked each person who works there. Mainly Eduardo Oliveira and the manager Gualter Fernandes, and also Rafael. These guys are always really polite and extremely helpful. I appreciated everything from the get - go, because they are always ready for work, even when they are not on working. Thank you guys, I appreciated all. Talita Colombini

the staff was unbelievably rude and not cooperative at all. If there would have been another option I would not have stayed there.

I stayed in the Jazz on South Beach in February for a few days. I had booked a 12 bed mixed dorm and I was definitely positive surprised about the whole facility. The dorms and bathrooms were clean, the location is great, very central and easily accessible with public transport. The staff was very nice and Eduardo from the front desk surprised us with perfect German skills. I met a lot of great people there and I'm very glad, that I picked this hostel.

I really enjoyed my stay in this hostel. It was really nice. I stayed in a 12 mixed dorm and I really could sleep well. At night i was really quite. My roommates were super nice, like everybody in the hostel. The staff was really nice and helpful, especially Eduardo. ;) Really nice that he could talk german! The pancakes in the morning were okay. They were free so that's good when you have not that much money. I probably would go there again. I had a great time there! :)

Well located to an excellent price for the location. Theonly thing it's if you drive to the htoel, there is no parking lot in the hostel or near it, but if you reach it in bus, the stop it's two blocks away.

Good for couple of nights, thumbs up for letting you bring your own booze, but thumbs down to have to put the beer in a plastic glass, but in general quite good for price

I liked Jazz a lot better than Miami International Hostel. Jazz (4 bed dormitory) is so much cleaner and quieter. Perhaps my room was really quiet since it was located on all the way down the hallway. However, if you want "friendlier and let's go crazy" atmosphere, go to MIH. One thing that bothered me was its location considering that the "main" part of south beach is 14th~18th st. Even though it's walking distance to most places, it gets annoying. Besides this, I would recommend Jazz.

Nice hostel. Good price, Great staff and quite nice breakfast. if you want good value and good location and are not expecting anything too fancy, can't see any reason why you should not be happy here.

This hostel is the place to stay in South Beach. This was because of the staff's helpfulness, especially the lady that works in the mornings. She has good multitasking, goes beyond her job duties in helping the guests. The rest of the staff also works to make your stay pleasant. The lunches, dinners and all the amenities are great for the value of the money. We had a great time meeting new people, going out with groups to the bars/clubs. Hostel is one of the best in North America. Thanks!
