I don't recommend staying in one of the 10-bed dorms. The beds are pretty cheap and rickety (enough so that it was hard to sleep). Not sure if its any better in the other rooms, but it might be.

The hostel was okay overall, but the dorm room I was in was far too cold! So cold, in fact, that I could barely sleep. Unless this problem is resolved, I don't think I would choose to stay at this hostel again.

great experience for my first hostel! only issues i had was the front door to the second building was broken and not fixed while i was staying there. Also a pole in the second level bathroom burnt me. However overall experience was fantastic.

The hostel was great for meeting people and the breakfast was fab. Just a shame I had my Ipod pinched as the cleaner left our room open! Our room was a double and was really nice and cleaned every day. Would def recommend it to others! Great way of meeting people and the hostel organised nights out too which was good.

Only stayed here 2 nights. Didn't seem to be much going on at the hostel or in the neighbourhood. Had the bed springs sticking into me as well but still slept (mainly due to jetlag I think). Staff were hit and miss, some you couldn't get the time of day from others we're friendly and chatty. Not sure why it's rated quite highly.

Good hostel in a good location - close to subway for downtown action. The staff are quite friendly and helpful. Included breakfast is very basic.

The hostel is ok, but the matrasses where terrible and the rooms too small. The staff was helpful when they where in the mood. It is strange that there is not a common kitchen, so that you are forced to buy something at the counter. The location is perfect and when you are there and sightseeing all day this hostel is perfect.

The hostel was very clean and comfortable. Showers were good. Some outlets in the room did not work and beds were noisy. I told the staff about it all and they told me they are refurbishing the hostel bit by bit. They were really open for suggestions. Therefore, I recommend this place.

Cheap. Cheap.Cheap. That's the one great thing about this place. The beds are surprisingly small. No elevators. Staff were fine. Annoyances about this place: One toilet for the whole floor, no place to hang clothes and stuff in the shower. The biggest annoyance was having people wax the floor at 10-11am on Saturday morning - Everyone in my room was still sleeping in. Who schedules a waxing of floors on Saturday morning at a hostel?! Also its a very noisy place! You can hear doors banging, etc.
