Nothing special, except maybe the location. Not bad, not good, average.

Saff at reception, especially Jose, were extremely arrogant and basically did not seem to have any interest to help anyone. Not only me but also the other people coming to desk just seemed to disturb them and they did not hide it. One exception though: the young girl with short hair was definitely doing a very good job. I usally never comment anything, good or bad, but this time i think it s necessary.

The Staff was nice and the facilities and the rooms were cleaned daily. The rooms were very noisy. You could hear through the walls and the doors were clapping all night. The radiator in our room was burning hot and could not be lowered. At the reception they told us that we should cover the radiator so we put our blankets over it but it was still to hot to have a good night sleep. Even though the rooms where simple for 30$ a night you should be able to expect everything to work.

José is the best staff, he helped me with everything. But they don't have many facilities like a fridge, an oven and flatware. They didn't give me the wi-fi login, so I had to pay to use the internet. It's impossible control the warmer temperature, so we almost died with the heat every night even with opened window. Everyplace there is so dirty.

Very good hostel with low price. The staff is very good, Alena was very attentive and polite. The two thing that was a litle bit bad was the heater (too warm) and the Facilities.

Really good location, lovely and warm even though we stayed when the weather was freezing cold! Rooms and facilities were fine although it would be better if there was somewhere you could buy/make a cup of tea or coffee and maybe store a little food. Overall really good value for money and brilliant location, I would definitely recommend it.

I only stayed for a couple nights but I would stay at Jazz on the park again and for longer. Unfortunately, the kitchen is closed because they don't have a a health inspection permit. The hostel is across the street from Central Park and a few blocks away from 103st metro.

It was all well arranged. But there could be given more or better attention when new guests arrive. I didn't feel treated like a customer / client. More like a person whose walking into a store where the store personell doesn't know yet weather I'm a new customer or someone who isn't going to spend any money.

The bed sheets did not appear to be clean, and the garbage was not emptied everyday, I felt that, that was needed to be done because as tourist we tend to acumulate a lot of unnecessary shopping bags and boxes that took up a lot of bin space. Other than that I thoroughly enjoyed my stay.

This place lacks everything. There is no bar, it was shut down by the sanitation commissioner. Rooms loud, expensive for nothing. Two of the activities are for a strip club? Who runs this place? Loud people and staff told me off as a door closed loudly due to the dilapidated state of the building. The mattresses are old and there are zero facilities. No privacy in 'bathrooms'. Avoid at all costs. A hotel is cheaper than this. Also, a staff member was sleeping on a couch? What? Worst place.

Very noisy in my section, cramped dirty bathroom

It was the most terrible hostel that I stayed. There were lots of funny activities everyday. But that's the only good thing of there. There was no elevator even though female dorm is 4th floor. If you have any heavy bag, never go there. And the heater was crazy-hot, and we couldn't control that. The bed sound was terrible, and it looked so weak. The blanket looked dirty, too. I'll never go there again.

The hostel was excelent, the people who was attending the reception was very helpful and amiable. The bathrooms were clean, the rooms very nice. Also i think that the posibility of leave your stuff there even if you've already check out (for the day) is a great service. For the price that they ask, i think is a very good chance in NYC.

There were tags in the bathroom. The room where we could leave our lugagge remained open all the time so that anyone could walk in. But my roomate was great and we went sightseeing together. I didn't spend much time there.

Hot water in female and me showers did not work on final day. End shower was always leaking into floor. Cleaning ladies were quite rude at times.
