Nice room. Bathroom was little bit weary. Receptionist didn't speak English, but it in our case it was not a problem. It is located close to waterfalls.

The owner was very friendly to us when we checked in, clearly expecting us, providing maps for us and directions on how to go to places in jeju, giving recommendations himself. Anything we were unsure about, he provided answers. You can ask him anything you want, from opening hours of places of interest in jeju, how to get there, duration it'll take, services in the hostel, etc. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay there. Free wifi was provided, but it was not very reliable.

The room was TINY and not very clean. The decor needs a serious overhaul. The kitchen was even smaller than our room and quite messy. There was zero atmosphere. The only good thing about this hostel was the owner. He was very helpful, friendly and spoke good English. I would not recommend staying here!

The staff was great, the location was great, the facilities where great. But the bathroom was a disaster. For a few days it was an ok hostel, but if you plan to stay longer I would not recommend it.

It is what it is: an old hotel/probably a love hotel (judging by the 2nd floor vending machine lol). If you want a cheap place to stay and you have no issues staying in an old building that could do with some renovating then you'll be fine here. It's close to town, close to the harbour, convenient for buses, and the staff are great too =)

A pleasant overall experience; will definitely return if going to jeju again. Needs more power sockets.

Cost is not high. And I do not know why, the staff treated me very no patiently. For example, I asked why no hot water in the night.

I didt even get to stay in Jeju Hiking Inn. The owner, who can speak English, told us my stay was cancelled and there was no room that night. There must be some confusion when i changed my room from double to twin bed using hostel world website but the owner said that someone called him to cancelled it.. He also mentioned that he don't want customers who stay only one night, which refer to me. Then he just bring me to another old motel nearby. I want my 10% deposit and admin charges back...

this hotel corresponds to the price you pay : it is very cheap, so you don't get a lot of quality. the rooms are small, more or less clean, the bathroom is old as the building is. if you really are looking for something cheap (more like a youth hostel) it is ok, but maybe it is worth putting a little bit more money to get a clean and nice hotel.

On the good side, nice place and nice people. The room was one of the nicest we've been in. On the bad, mostly it was the very poor quality of wifi reception at the hostel, even when we took the laptop down to the lobby. they have computers, but also not so good, slow. Not all staff could speak English, and unlike other hostels they didn't provide shampoo or conditioner, only hard soap. They didn't clean the room once during our 4 nights stay, and on the last one, at 11 pm there was no hot water

An English speaking staff would be a huge plus. Other than that, it's all good for the price that we paid :)

unfortunately our toilet kept on plugging up and the dresser/night stand was falling apart.....this place has been used alot.....but it did cover the basics: a warm shelter with shower so it was adequate.....the group areas were super dinky so we stayed in our room pretty much unless we were out exploring..... it was in nice location....near the harbor/water falls and on the airport bus line.....

The staff, Kevin, speaks English which is a big help to us. And he was helpful in giving us guidelines on how to get around the city. The inn itself was superb for its value. Located near convenience stores, food hubs, attractions, and even the airport limousine bus stop. Wifi access 24 hours is also a good factor. However, the free international calls did not include my home country. Too bad. Hope they have it on my next trip back to Jeju.

Very nicely located in Seogwipo...not a far stroll from the waterfall. Food are easily available and easy to catch transport to airport and other attractions in Jeju. Would definitely come back and stay again.

The hostel has a calm and relaxed atmosphere which was nice. Some more signs in the reception area or notices about the other services available would be good though.
