Has character and great staff but the doors could use an upgrade to card based cause if left unlocked (and the locking is not that easy with old type keys) anyone can enter. ANd in fact, they did... Otherwise a great cute hostel clean and tidy with spacious dormitories, feels like a typical countryside hostel actually. I will stay again there in the future. Location is great, near to all sorts of commuting.

We visited the Jellyfish last week and had a fabulous time! The desk/staff people were incredibly helpful and friendly. We loved the location and our little room up under the eaves!!! Couldn\'t have been nicer!!!! Thanks for a great time in Rostock, Jellyfishers. Wish we\'d had more time there.

Jellyfish was just as a hostel should be! Kitchen facilities were great (not always available in the larger hostels on my trip) Great internet access in the rooms and two working (this is rare!) computers in the lounge room :) The lady behind reception was so lovely and helpful and assisted me practising my German. She pointed out places of local interest. Other residents were respectful of the rules, quiet time between 10pm and 10am. Good central location for all the main attractions

A nice hostel in a great central location. The staff was nice and friendly, the toilets clean. Nothing fancy or especially great but the place is well worth what they charge.
