Very friendly and helpful staff. They even cooked for us on the brai, and organised a tour of the slums and Rasta village.
Such a nice and helpful family with a nice place. Felt like I was staying at a family's house with the nice common area and everything. They put the braai on sometimes and said they'd gladly cook it for us too if we buy the groceries. Really well located. Only complaint is that it's quite noisy in the morning (ear plugs a must) and there was a shady guy smoking in the common toilet with the door unlocked one night.
really nice hostel, the owners were really helpful
This is a great, homely place to stay where the staff are very helpful and friendly. The showers and loos with wooden slatted doors take a little to get used to but that's a small obstacle to overcome to stay here!
Wonderful stay with an absolutely wonderful family. Always willing to give advice and help with any of your needs. Would recommend to anyone looking for a relaxed and comfortable stay. Phil
The shower really sucks when there's is more then 1 person showering. But next to that is was a good backpacker.
This was a wonderful hostel, the owners took great care of the place, and you have your own locker under your bed to lock up valuables. Also has a security gate to get in. The breakfast is included in the morning, which was great and you are really close to shopping, restaurants and a nice walk away from the Knysna Heads, which have a great view especially on a sunny day. The owners are all really nice, and make you really feel at home.
