As long as you want to stay in Kreuzberg, it is a fantastic location. Lots of shops and restaurants. Cool graffiti, great bars and nightlife. Regardless, it isn't a long metro into the city. Security is good. Staff were accommodating. Atmosphere is fun as long as you can make friends and organize things yourselves. Hostel atmosphere seemed generally fun and social. Some of the nicest facilities for the money--especially the shower.
Nice hostel with nice atmosphere. It makes it really easy to meet another travlers.
A really great place to meet others as a solo traveller. Breakfast was included in the room price which was great. Common room is really nice with 1 euro beers but unfortunately is closed from 11:30pm until 8:30am when breakfast starts. Additionally there was no bathroom in the common room, just in the rooms which were in a separate building 50m away. Coffee and tea are only free at breakfast, after that it costs 1 euro. Location is good if you like bars and clubs.
The entire experience was amazing - great atmosphere, friendly staff, perfect location for going out (a bit far from the centre and main tourist attractions, but easily accessible by public transportation). Excellent place for solo travelers.
The spot if your taking on Berlin's club scene. I had a particularly crazy weekend and this hostel was the most perfect shelter. On top of huge rooms and bathrooms, they provide the most comfortable bunk beds I have ever had the pleasure to sleep in. Basically was nocturnal and slept during the day- this is completely acceptable. Loved kruezberg as well! The food is all close, as are the dance floors.
This hostel is definitely a great one, thanks to the amazingly kind staff! The best place to stay in Berlin if you're travelling solo. Only downside is that it's a 10mn walk to the nearest u-bahn station.
This hostel is located on my favourite neighbourhood - Kreuzberg. Full of street art and the best bars in Berlin are nearby. Staff was really cool and internet was incredibly fast! Great to meet other travellers as well.
This place is so awesome. Kreutzberg is a really cool, artsy, laid back area. It is very progressive and all the really big tourist attractions are only a train ride away (you could even walk if you want to walk a lot, which I prefer...you get to experience more). The staff are all really awesome. All the people staying there were so great, I made friends immediately and have stayed in touch since. It is a really great place for people if you are traveling alone especially. It feels like home

Definitely one my favourite hostels! €1 beers in the hostel means that you will easily get to know your fellow travellers. No large groups, mid-sized hostel and so everyone gets to know everyone! Rooms and bathrooms were very clean, shower was excellent, beds comfortable, lockers large (but not very good locking system). Loads of great bars, restaurants (Google Burgermeister, Piri, HelloGoodPie, Delikato) and of course, the right side of town for the clubs (my favs: Kater Blau and Sisyophis)!
Loved my time at jetpak. Thanks to the staff for making my stay such a memorable one. Cannot wait to return to Berlin. Will def stay here again. Comfy bed. Loved the chilled out vibe. Miss it already! Cheers, Chrissy.
Staff is extremely friendly and knowledgeable of the cool spots to check out. As a solo traveller, meeting people is a must and Jetpak Alternative provided the common space and atmosphere to do so. The hostel is close to many cool bars and clubs as well as great restaurants. I really enjoyed my time in Berlin thanks to Jetpak Alternative.
Incredible staff, they nurture an environment where people want to meet each other. You might be shy and even a little intimidated when you walk in to the common room for the first time with your big backpack and a bunch of people wave at you, but soon you find yourself doing the same for the newcomers. This is the only hostel I've been to that's actually made my experience in a city. I'll have fond memories of this place.
Great people, great staff, great fun. Perfect for travelling solo. Will be back again for sure!
The hostel is definitely one of the best I've been around and definitely in Europe. Very home feeling to it , amazig shower - super hot (just like home), great decoration and tiles in the toilets and amazing communal area. It was really easy to bond with people there - never had it been so easy to me like it was there. I do have remark of taking the hostel to a better place- The shower lacks proper place to hang stuff as well of a place to put soap. 2nd, the bed can be more stable. Its shak
Some simple trick in a shower - like hooks for towels and cupboard to put your toiletries while in the shower would make life much easier. Other then that AMAZING
Loved this hostel. The only thing that bothered me was that there are no toilets in the common area. Would recommend to stay here for sure if you're headed to berlin though!
Lynn was great and really helpful.the others were just going thru the motions.theres another great guy who was very helpful with directions.he served breakfast during daylight saving time adjustment I think Julian was his name.neighborhood is great.very neat street art and nice restaurants.close to the u bahn as well.
It is not a big hostel, but is excellent, with a great atmosphere, clean, staff friendly and really easy to meet other people. The location is perfect, is in a cool neighborhood, with several restaurants, bars, a beautiful park in front of the hostel, and easy to take a metro or rent a bike and explore Berlin
