staying at jetpack is quiet an interesting expérience! The hostel is really located in one of the richest area in Berlin, and it is really in the forest, people who r mostly exploring nite life in Berlin, I would not recommend, but, if you a looking for a place calms your soul, I really recommend there, they are sweetest people/owners I ever met! I absolutely loved everything there! Take a walk around the near lake...breath some fresh air..meet some nice germans..talk to your fellow travelers.

bed has a dip in it. the tv is broken. the showers are not hot enough. the drinks machine was empty. the door needed to be kicked to open or shut it. finally the only way to walk to and from the hostel is through the woods. to walk to the hostel at night it is unsafe.

Such a lovely place to stay! The lady who runs it was really helpful, the room was nice and the atmosphere was friendly. It's out of town but the buses are pretty regular, and you can get an all day travel pass for 6 Euros 20.

Lovely lady and her family were welcoming, helpful and cheerful;her daughter is delightful! A real warm family atmosphere; I love the woods and felt as though I belonged with Hansel and Gretel! I recommend it to anyone looking for something different and willing to travel beyond the city centre. I'd certainly come back.

This lovely hostel is in the huge Grunewald forest, yet the nearest bus stop is 5 minutes walking away and the metro about 15. Easy to reach by car, and great if you want to combine the culture of Berlin with the nature of the forest. The beautiful Botanical Gardens are also close by. The staff is very friendly, and the atmosphere very homely. The showers and toilets were spotless.
