This hostel is a bit eccentric in that it is the middle of the woods in a park in Berlin. I never felt like my belongings were insecure but there were no locks on the public dorm room. Also, while in the woods may be a plus, it takes a while by mass transit to make it back to the city center.This hostel is a bit eccentric in that it is the middle of the woods in a park in Berlin. Positive: The staff is fantastic. Rooms are good. Good value for money. Negative: The shared bathrooms reminded us of our old locker rooms in school (kind of dark, not always hot water in the showers, and no privacy at all). Positive: The staff is fantastic. Amazing staff. Very helpful. The hostel was clean. Location is in the woods, but still easily accessible. Less than a 15 min walk from the buses. Would recommend to everyone!Amazing staff. Jetpak Eco Lodge hostel was exactly what I was looking for in a hostel at the time since I wanted somewhere relaxing, comfortable, friendly and safe. It was all of these and more since it was set in beautiful forest park. The location does mean that it is not ideal for visiting town and/or grabbing bites to eat but if you are happy to travel for this then it's a brilliant hostel!Jetpak Eco Lodge hostel was exactly what I was looking for in a hostel at the time since I wanted somewhere relaxing, comfortable, friendly and safe. We stayed at the hostel for about 6 nights and it was hard to leave! Situated in an amazing forest area, the hostel is a little out of town however, not difficult to get to. Neill and his family were extremely helpful and will help organise your days and how to access the main tourist destinations. It was fantastic to stay in this hostel because it is very relaxing and your able to relax after a huge day/night in the city.
