The staff were extremely helpful and welcoming and were always prepared to assist with queries and advice. The location was in the Grunewald, which was great for walking and swimming in the lakes. The distance to the centre of the City was just not an issue as the public transport was very accessible, easy to use, cheap, very reliable and punctual.

Small & friendly place, I liked the location too in the forest, made a break from being in cities all the time, had some good walks in it. It was easy enough to get public transport into Berlin city. The beds & room (double) were nice, and the common area friendly. Showers were only lukewarm..

Staff is excellent. Location was great for what I wanted to do (if your into the club and party scene this may be a bit out of the way) But I had an amazing time! For the price this place is superb!!! If I'm lucky enough to come back to Berlin I'm definitely booking here again!

I staid in so many places during my trip, but this was by a long stretch my absolute favorite. Sure it's at least half an hour from the city, but it's a truly unique place. The people I met here were fantastic without exception, both staff and visitors. We had a whole lot of fun, also thanks to staff. If you're tired of the faceless, crowded places, go here.

AMAZING!!! Def come here and plaz rock band, super comfy beds, good b-fast, GREAT STAFF.had a BBQ the other night = amazing food. great people, great fun but unforutatly kinda far from center!! pain in the butt when ur drunk and just want to get home, it takes awhile! watch out for the wild boars but other than that. .its sweet!

Best hostel ever... not exactly central but the atmosphere and the staff make it worth it. Marty (guy at the fron desk) rocks!!! I love this place, they go above and beyond to take care of you and make sure you have a great visit.

Amazing hostel! Right in the middle of a forest, great hiking! A bit difficult to get to when you first arrive but after you know the transit it's so easy. I have never met such nice staff before. Marty not only helped me out for Berlin but recommended me to tours and places for my Barcelona trip and drove me to the centre when I was checking out! Will definetly be going back here.
