When I arrived I was told all showers were broken and they would be fixed for the next day but even around 12am the next day, nobody seemed to work on them. I didn't ask for it but no discount whatsoever was offered even though I only staid one night and so couldn't have a shower at all. Also, for $80+ per night you'd expect a bit more in general, even in near Tokyo central. Then again, it apparently wasn't the staff's fault and they been very helpful at all times.

Friendly and helpful English-speaking staff. Café on ground floor is common room but also meeting point for local businessmen, etc. Bunks in dorms (basement) are comfortable but can be squeaky. Male dorm was a little stuffy, needed ventilation. Always seemed to be enough toilets, sinks, and showers for the two gender-segregated dorms. Good location, close to restaurants and useful metro lines. Dorm rooms locked by keycard; no lockers. Fast internet, sometimes flaky or slow.

It's a very good hotel, very well located, staff was helpful and they had all the necessary facilities (decent showers, tv on the room, internet, laundry room). I'd definitely recommend it!

Staff were really good. Breakfast was a bit limited but the good thing was you could fill up on toast.

Excellent place to stay in Tokyo. However, I must say that I would hope that more hotels/hostels would consider the fact that WiFi radiation is known to affect the brain and hence our ability to sleep at night. I always suffer from poor sleep when I stay in places that are blasting WiFi 24/7.

Staying two night there was such a traumatic experience... The dorm is in the underground floor, & next to a boiler room..., which means you'll sleep listening to the noise from the boiler and wake up without sunshine. In the bathroom, a guy was changing his underwear despite the fact that it is a common space. When I said hi to two sharemates in both Japanese and then English, these girls didn't reply to me... Otherwise, it's okay. It was clean overall, and the staff were helpful.

Great location close to the subway, Rooms were clean and comfortable and the staff spoke excellent english and were extremely helpful, the laundry was convenient and there is also a great 315 yen breakfast which was great value for money if you were heading out before much was open. This hotel was in a good central location to get to other tourist destinations and the subway connections were easy. We had a really comfortable stay and would stay again. Cheers :)

Overall the hotel was decent, but there are several things that would prevent me from ever coming back. As soon as I went into the room, I got massive allergies that were unbearable. I had to wear a mask the whole time in order to cope with it. My friend, who rarely has allergies, was also affected and for the next two days was sneezing and had a runny nose. They seemed to put everyone on the same floor, and there are only 2 showers and they were always full. When I finally got one, no hot water
