This is one of the nicest hostels I have ever stayed in. It was even cleaner than my house, which is saying something. The only thing that could have made it better was if there had been private rooms, but it is so small that would be impossible. Don't hesitate to stay here!

This place is probably one of the best hostels I've been to. Not the biggest or fanciest but Its got heart! My trip to Hokkaido was riddled with some failures on my part but coming back to Jimmy's always made me feel at home and welcome. It really made it all worth while! Jimmy is a very helpful and generous person, he will help you with whatever travel queries you may have. Ten out of ten. Forget the snow festival you should go to Sapporo just to hang out with Jimmy!

Really nice hostel - I had a great stay. Very helpful directions- both on how to find the hostel, and where to go to eat/sightsee

The hostel is very close to the city center so you can walk everywhere easily. The staff is very friendly and you receive some extra information on your arrival like where you can eat the meibutsu of Sapporo or where the sight seeing spots are. The rooms are big and nice. I really enjoyed staying at Jimmyz Backpackers!

The hostel is run by a very friendly Japanese guy called Jimmy. Jimmy speaks excellent English and is a great help in recommending where to go and what to see and eat around Sapporo. During my stay there were 2 nights that I was the only person there and I spent a good few hours chatting with Jimmy, really easy going guy. Facilities are all up to scratch and is only a 5 min walk to the centre of town. For bang for you buck it can't be beat.

LOVED this place, was so sad to leave! Jimmy welcomes you here and you feel like you are staying with family not at a dorm. The accom is really warm and clean, and the beds were super comfy. It had a great kitchen and lounge room area where all the guests hung out together. Jimmy was really helpful at giving advice on tourist attractions, helping to book things in Japanese and recommending restaurants. Highlight of Sapporo! I will be back for sure!

Jimmy was an awesome host! After staying with him for a night, I left wishing I stayed in Sapporo for longer. Hey really goes out of his way to make guests feel right at home. The location is within reasonable walking distance from Susukino. If you're staying in Sapporo, give Jimmy a try, you won regret it!

Staying at Jimmyz is like staying at your very own home - everyone is so friendly and Jimmy is such a nice guy, you feel like you have known him for years! Its in a great location - walking distance from everything and there's even a quirky little antique/junk shop close by, if you fancy something different to bring home. I would highly recommend this hostel, great value for money, Jimmy is wonderful and the location couldn't be better:-)
