We were very happy with our stay - the staff were happy to arrange for tours to Phi Phi Island and Phang Nga Bay for us and were happy to clarify matters on our behalf eg with vegetarian meals. Our rooms were spotless and cleaned daily with fresh towels and toiletries provided. In terms of location it is a little bit removed from the main Kata strip which we were quite happy about, and even further away from Patong which we were even more happy about. Definitely recommended.

Great staff. Very clean. Very quiet and minutes away from the beach. Would definitely recommended it.

Clean rooms, great pool, friendly service, about a 10-15 minute walk to the beach.

I have traveled in 10+ countries and this one tops as the one with good value for money. The rooms are very spacious and beautiful, too! The one we've got has a nice veranda and the staff are so helpful. You can email them in advance to help you plan your visit in Phuket. Kata beach is close and good restaurants are within a walking distance, with an ATM too! Would stay here again definitely!

Good location in a quiet area not far from the beach. Excellent dorm with small rooms for one person with a good bed and a safety box. In the lobby fridge, kettle and complimentary tea and coffee

Great base in Phuket. Good price, huge bed, very clean. A short walk from Kata beach. Also hired a scooter from the hotel for 200 baht and explored some more of the Island. Kata is a really nice beach, also Nai Harn further south is an easy trip by scooter.

Only stayed for 1 night, but definitely would've liked to stay more. Wan was so helpful (from the minute I got there, until the minute I left) and so friendly!! This place is very clean and offers many things you would see in a hotel rather than a guesthouse; and it is just a short walk to Kata Beach (beautiful beach- I made it just in time for sunset). I will be back and highly recommend this guesthouse!

Stayed here 2 nights- the location was a bit hard for our taxi driver to find, but the staff was great- friendly and helpful. This feels more like a hotel than a hostel- clean and nice rooms. Kata beach is definitely much more relaxed than Patong beach, so if you\'re looking for something more low-key, away from the late night party action, this would be a good place to stay.

The dorms where good as had ur own little room, but as this was an only female dorm and i was in there the whole time on my own so couldnt meet other travellers as there was no common room as such either, i think if dorm was mxed dorm would be busyer and would meet other travellers. apart from that was nice and clean

Would go back in a heartbeat!! The owner and the guy working the front desk were some of the sweetest people I\'ve met, so helpful and always smiling! It was a steal too for how nice and clean the rooms are.

We loved the Hotel, they have great staff and acted promptly on any requests we had. The pricing was good - what you would expect for this time of year for the type of property and location.

I had a wonderful stay at Jinta Andaman. My dorm room was very nice and clean, and the staff was amazingly friendly and helpful. The guesthouse is located in a quiet little area of Phuket near Kata Beach. There are lots of shops and restaurants within walking distance, and there are tons of activities to choose from.

I loved the dorm room!! There were actual walls separating each bed so it felt like a private room! This makes it harder to meet people if you are a solo traveler though. I loved it though, very relaxing and felt good to spread out. The staff is great and very helpful. Not a far walk from the beach either! Watch out for crazy tuk tuk fares.. if you can brave it, rent a moped instead.. will save you tons in the end.

Loved this hostel. Semi private was just what I needed for my three week stay in Kata beach. Nice, clean room with walls :) the only complaint and it is nothing major, is my room needed a few hooks to hang towels bathing suit ext. also the second shower door didn't close all the way. Simple fix I just hung my towel over the door to keep it closed. It would be so easy to fix thou. Met great people here and will definitely be back next time. Thanks so much

Very helpful staff, lovely decor and clean big rooms and all at a very low price. We would certainly come again - and recommend it everyone we know.

We loved our stay at the Jinta, the staff were so friendly and helpful and we missed their hospitality the moment we left Kata. We will recommend to others and hopefully come back and stay there again. Excellent location, too rooms were clean and tidy although we needed a second toilet roll often!

I stayed in the girls dorm and it was really good. Each person had thier own 'room' within the bigger room which was a nice change from the usual 10 bunks squished into one room deal. The whole place was kept impeccably clean and I felt safe staying there as a solo female. The staff were great too, very helpful with organising tours and taxis and transfers and whatnot.
