A pleasant stay - the room was clean and cool with a decent bathroom and a little balcony. Staff were helpful and the location was quiet but very close to the beach. Recommended.

I do like the way the dorm is separated into little private room. No air con, just a fan. Room cleaned everyday, you get clean sheets, a clean towel & bottle of water everyday. There was a safe in your room but no instructions given how to use it. I wasn't shown the pool either. It's a great room for a quiet holiday. Don't come here to party & meet people. The beach is lovely & about 10 - 15mins walk. Ensure you take insect repellent to Thailand, I unfortunately caught Dengue fever on my trip.

We liked the dorm "situation", 5 seperate rooms in one big room, but the facilities were very poor. The smell of "canalization" is almost unbearable. Even though it was cleaned every day. The facilities definitely need an update. The location was ok, it was quiete at night, couple of minutes to shops, beach (which was very disapointing) etc. But if you want to do yourself a favour, don't stay in Kata at all.

My friend and I originally planned to stay here for a week and then go to Phi Phi Island for a week, but we loved it here so much that we only went to Phi Phi for 2 nights and came back here for the rest of the time. The people are so wonderful, the facilities are comfortable (even though we stayed in the dorm, it felt like we had our own rooms), the rates for day trips are reasonable, and Kata beach is really close.

This is a great accommodation. Really great to have a hostel-type dorm option on Kata beach. Loads of privacy even though it is technically a "dorm". Everything was perfectly clean. Location in great - a few minutes walk to the beach, but away from the noise so you can get a good night of sleep. The staff was very freindly, kind and helpful. Only complaint is that the door to the dorm was left either wide open or unlocked all the time. Everything else was super. Would definitely recommend. ^_^

Probably my favorite room I stayed at in Thailand. Well designed clean room with AC pointed right at bed and a tv right there and a fridge right there. Balcony (ledge) had beautiful view that could be seen from the bed. Hotel was able to book our pickup and ferry to our next island as well. Were I to do the islands again, I would use this hotel as a base of operations and day trip to the other islands.

Rooms were nice, because even in dormitory rooms there was private area separated by walls and curtain for everyone. Staff was really helpful and friendly, but some of them didn't speak that good English.
