Jinta City Hostel is conveniently located if you want to stay near Nathon Pier. However its away from the main action of Ko Samui. Having a pool is a positive as there are no swimming beaches nearby. Also they had a good English movie channel, which was great when the TV stayed on! The room was small and felt old, the sheets well used and the matress was uncomfortable. But it was cheap, so you get what you pay for!

the front desk staff were not very friendly , other than that it was good place to stay right in town with lots of restaurants close by.If you want a beach forget it .

Awful. Don't stay here. It would have been a good low budget place to rest your head if it wasn't for my experience with the staff. I woke up & went to the "24 hour reception" at 2am REALLY sick. The lady was asleep behind the desk & when I told her I had 5-6 symptoms of malaria & could she tell me how to find/get to a hospital, she rolled over & waved me away saying "go away, come back in the morning, it's 2am" - So yeah, when it comes down to it, all they want is your money, don't give it...

The room itself was quite good and the shower was hot. Had TV, fridge and aircon and was relatively clean. From our experience the staff weren't very friendly. Short walk from the main pier but in a very quiet area, not much to do. Chaweng beach is only half an hour drive away and easy to get to.
