A little out of town but it's a nice, clean hostel. If you want to meet people and drink beers by the pool, this is the place for you. I thought it was a little overpriced, and the laundry service was double the price compared to other hostels. However the breakfast was great and the staff were pretty helpful.

Best hostel i've stayed at. Santa cruz in itself isn't much, but we stayed for 1 week just because this hostel is so awesome.

This hostel is amazing, beautiful pool and nice outdoor area. Breakfast is great, includes eggs cooked how you like with plenty of fruit available. Very clean hostel is spotless every morning and bathrooms in our room were great water was warm never had any issues also shared bathrooms very clean. Beds were comfortable and people there were great. Only knock is the wifi doesn't travel far and can be hard to reconnect. Staff very helpful and the owners a legend. Highly reccomend

Really nice hostel- funky colour schemes and extremely clean. Excellent free breakfast with fresh fruit, eggs (cooked on sight) bread and condiments. The owner is so lovely and speaks really good English as well as many of the other staff. About 15-20min walk into the centre, though to be honest there's not much to do there so you'll probably only need to visit it just the once. Nick's adventures offers many tours around the area- ask the staff for more info. Peace.

Nice hostel with pool, simple but nice breakfast, nice common arrea's, ok kitchen but limited equipment. Friendly staff and owner introduced himself as well( he used to travel as well). Only negative: bit of a walk from center, but take a taxi: so cheap!

Really a nice hostel to stay at, where to meet people, party and relax. Santa Cruz is an expensive city compare to the rest of Bolivia, but paying a bit more to stay at Joganda is worth it. Everything is really clean, the pool is great (especially after a long day of bus in the hot weather), the breakfast also (more than bread, butter and jam !) and there are a lot of nice common areas. However, it is a bit far from the city centre (but there is not much to do there...).

We stayed only one night and we loved it! We booked a double private room, shared bathroom, and although the check in was only at 2pm, the room was available so they let us check in earlier (at 8am). Everything was clean and very organized, friendly staff and the breakfast is THE BEST breakfast that I've ever saw in a hostel! The only thing I could possibly mention as a con is that a got feeling that if the hostel was full, there will be not enough bathrooms. Definitely wolud stay there again!

Cool place to spend your time in Santa Cruz. Facilities in the hostel are very good.

We ended up staying at Jodanga for 3 weeks as we looked for an apartment in Santa Cruz (we are studying here as a group of 6 for three months) the hostel was perfect, the staff are amazing, always happy to help and nothing is too much trouble. If you are eating out go to Factory or Brasargent amazing food and good value, just as close as bk or subway to walk to. Some new plates in the kitchen would be my only suggestion - pretty much a perfect hostel! Thanks for everything guys :) the Scottish x

The hostel perfect. Nice and cheap bar, with great pool, and an amazing vibe. By far the best hostel i've been in bolivia. The only down side is that there are almost anything nearby.

Great hostel! Nice to chill by the pool in the sun. Drinks are a bit pricecy. Don't be fooled by the all you can eat and drink BBQ we bought in and when waiting for round two of food we saw the staff and friends were eating chicken we had asked for! Besides that great place clean a good few day stop over.

Owner Comment (Hide)
Dear Guest, we are glad you have enjoyed your stay with us. Just to clarify during our all you can eat BBQ, the first round is served by the cooker and for the next ones you just ask again like everyone else does. The first round of food is cooked previously and the second one takes a little bit longer to be ready but there is plenty of time to ask for more. Remember you have to approach to the grill in order to do it. The staff approaches at the end to have a bite but that’s organized.

Stayed here for only one night. Staff were really helpful and attentive. Good showers, good wifi, a really nice pool and a decent breakfast. The negatives would be the location, not very near the centre at all but the hostel itself is nice and has a nice little bar to meet other travellers in. It's also a bit pricey but think Santa Cruz in general is quite expensive so probably average for the location.
