itīs close to the French Quarter, although, the neighborhood isnīt the best one. You should take a taxi at night. The staff was excellent, very friendly. I just saw one bathroom in the whole hostel, but I didnīt have to wait, because we were only a few people. Facit: itīs a cheap hostel, although, next time, I will choose another one.

The lady who attends the hostel was not there when I arrived. I waited for 30 minutes to get there. It seems that the lady who attends is never there and you have to call her, but It takes a long time to her to get there. It happened like that with all the guests who arrived after me. The location is good you can walk to the french quarter.

The staff is nice and accomodating. They took care of us and made us feel right at home. The location isn't too bad, but we were careful and smart about when we left and always took a cab back. People will tell you that it's a bad area but like I said, as long as you're smart about how you get around you'll be fine. Greg drove us to Bourbon St on some nights, & a few good restaurants are really close! We had a lot of fun and will be back soon!

I was only one of two guests, and the main reason I think was the horrific bedbug problem. I spent two nights in agony, even though they gave me a private room the next day. (it had bedbugs too)
