The house was very nice, and the staff Ana was very lovely and friendly! It's a bit up hill and you need to go inside to find the hostel (first time might be a bit complicated), but I was very comfortable and satisfied with the visit!

Nice location, for those looking for something off the beaten track, really nice person on duty and wonderful cake for breakfast!

I loved Johnie's Place, great location side by side with the best sightview of Lisbon and located in one of the most traditional neighbourhoods, Graça. The staff is great, they treat you in a unique way, including a great breakfast and with all the facilities one need's for a great stay in the city. The staff(Ana) is from Lisbon, and gives all the information we need so we can't miss anything the city has to offer. The place is also very clean. I will definitely come back!

It´s e very nice place, close to the famous 'Castelo' and in front you have a small spot with a great view all over the city. We had the double bed room, which could be better. It was always dark, also during the day, because there is just a small window to the court. But even worse: there was always a smell of urine because of the poor drainage. Maybe - if you come as a couple - you should look for another place... The dorms looked awesome and the kitchen was great!

Johnie's place was a really lovely space in a really interesting neighbourhood. The staff (Ana) was very pleasant and informative. Our breakfast included home-made baked goods and fresh fruit - not your typical free hostel breakfast!

Our stay at Johnies place was Amazing! Ana, the hostess was very friendly and helpful all the time. The location of the hostel is good, a calm Street a little bit outside the centre but it is close and easy to get everywhere. The place is pretty small and thats great, you can easily get to know everyone staying there and there are some nice rooms to hang out in. We would definitely recommend this hostel, and if we go Lisbon again we will go back there! We miss you guys! / Rebecka and Rakel

The best hostel to stay in Lisbon, very closed to the city center and the beautiful viewpoint in Graça. Very good breakfast for free. Another topic very useful is Wi-FI access also in the rooms. We feel like we stay at home. Thanks Ana for your tips. I hope to visit you again.

Johnies Place was the best hostal i´ve ever been to. To be there doesn´t feels like to stay in a hostal, it feels more like your at home. It´s a quiet and small place but that´s really cool, because you get to know everybody there. The staff was so friendly and the location was perfect! I had an awesome stay there and i´m sure if i go to Lisbon again i will go again to this hostal.
