Great place, excellent location. The staff make this place, really friendly, helpful and knowledgeable! Good facilities. Could do with stocking the kitchen a little more- communal tea and coffee would be nice.

Jollyboys has a great vibe, but it's mostly only because of the travelers. Some of the staff is really great, but some of them are the opposite plus incompetent. The showers are disgusting - I showered with three spiders and their meals each time, and they do have regular power outrageous, and the Internet doesn't work frequently (even though you have to pay quite a bit for it). The kitchens food isn't really great, but I hear it used to be. The pool and lounge areas are awesome though.

very well geared up for backpackers and tourists wanting to take day tours and see vic falls. regular power cuts in the area and mattresses wearing a little thin but the chilled out atmosphere, and one road away from the town makes it a great hostel to stay at.

atmosphere was relaxing and friendly; there was some type of mix up with beds when we arrived. staff was very friendly and quick to resolve and we were upgraded to a private for for no extra charge; amenities were good and staff was knowledgeable and friendly; kitchen left a little to be desired (hot plates?) but it worked well enough and were glad to have the facilities

It's a beautiful and peaceful place. Please...you have so many people coming in. Pls provide a toaster and a kettle and more kitchen material (plates, pans, cuttlery..etc). Also we were surprised not to find anything basic in the kitchen like salt and pepper, oil, tea, sugar! For the price you charge one can expect that we thought!

Very good welcome from staff, just cleaning was not sufficient and also towels not changed during 5 days. But good remember.

Generally a good place to stay. Some of the staff were a bit surly. Food is good. For what it is though price should be a bit cheaper.

Only had the pleasure of staying at Jollyboys for 2 nights but what a great experience. The ambience of the place is just fantastic. The staff are friendly and the service was excellent. The pool was clean an the nearby bar well stocked offering food throughout the day. I stayed in a room with ensuite and aircon and it was very clean on arrival and bug free. I booked a few trips with the reception with no problems. If looking for a well maintained and cheap place to stay you cant go wrong

Delightful space with lots of interaction for those who so desire it. Had a bit of a problem over a bill and it was well-handled. Highly recommended. JH

Lower marks for security as no locks on shared rooms and I had food stolen from the kitchen. Otherwise, no faults as staff and facilities were great.

I checked "average" for security. Only because the windows on my hut were just mosquitoes screens. No glass or metal and I thought it was unsafe for a solo female travellers. Plus it was a bit dark and secluded for my liking but in the end I had an amazing sleep.

Quite happy. Staff could have been a little more helpful. Didn't really seem very eager to assist with enquiries.
