Had a great time, it was a great place to stay. The pool was pretty dirty, but not as bad as some others at hostels we stayed at.

Delightful space with lots of interaction for those who so desire it. Had a bit of a problem over a bill and it was well-handled. Highly recommended. JH

I checked "average" for security. Only because the windows on my hut were just mosquitoes screens. No glass or metal and I thought it was unsafe for a solo female travellers. Plus it was a bit dark and secluded for my liking but in the end I had an amazing sleep.

Lower marks for security as no locks on shared rooms and I had food stolen from the kitchen. Otherwise, no faults as staff and facilities were great.

You need more drum circle nights

This is a great hostel, probably the best I stayed in Africa. definatelly recommended.

I had a great three-night stay! The staff were all very nice and very helpful, especially in helping us plan activities.

Staff weren't helpful, facilities were disgusting (especially the kitchen). We paid $60 for our rOom and it was in such bad condition. We stay at a lot of backpackers but this place was way below standard and very overpriced. No credit card facilities, all the activities need to be paid in cash sonypu need to carry a lot of cash with you. Of you dOnt pay in US$ they give a very expensive conversion rate to pay in kawcha. I imagine it would have been good 5 years ago but not anymore.

Stayed for New Year's. It really was quintessential backpackers place and I really liked the common area with lots of cushions. Bar has few pretty tasty daily menus, which was very nice. All in all, very satisfying experience!

It was a friendly, congenial place to stay.

Very good in everyway and highly recommended. We had some money stolen from our bag from the 16 person shared room, but that was really our fault for not locking it in the safes provided. Otherwise, we had a great time and loved the place!

It was a wonderful place to stay. I would suggest they get an ice machine but other than that great.

Jollyboys is an excellent place to stay - very convenient for town and extremely friendly. If you book several days stay and then decide to go on a short trip to, for example, Chobe national perk in Botswana or a canoe trip on the lower Zambezi, the team at Jollyboys are very flexible and will refund the days you are away. The pool is not large but adequate and has a pleasant little waterfall. The bar food is reasonably priced and offers a good variety of choice. You will love it there!
