After hearing gangster stories about similar Hostels in Livingstone, we were very happy with the security, cleanliness and overall atmosphere of Jollyboys Camp. The only small downside to the hostel is its the location, about 10-15 minutes walking from the town centre. For those who mind, there is the Jollyboys Backpackers, right next to the Livingstone Museum.

Nice place - but you have to walk (or - in darkness - take a taxi) to get there.

The location was great! The staff were very friendly and we enjoyed talking with them. We were impressed with the lovely campgrounds, quiet area, and the cleanliness of the rooms. We also appreciated the variety of food/meals offered at the campgrounds - very good food that was reasonably priced. We very much enjoyed our stay at Jollyboys and have already recommended it to friends! Thanks for the lovely holiday!

Very well suited for a happy family trip at low cost. Could not be better for the money paid. We were all very happy for the stay among the pleasant staff. Thank you Niels Kofoed

Чистенько, опрятно, лужайка, барчик, готовят. В 4 местном номере розеток не нашлось.

The place was a bit farther than tagged on google maps/hostel world. It was a bit dull, nobody was around, so I just moved to another hostel in town, which was more lively, without being a party animal den. Overall the place appeared a bit run down, the shower heads not working, no mosquito nets. Overall it was OK, just not that good really.

An excellent stay at the Jollyboys Camp; a quieter more relaxed version of the original Jollyboys Backpackers and no bad thing for that! Decent facilities all-round including a bar serving well-priced meals and a convenient free morning shuttle to the Victoria Falls themselves. But it is the superb, friendly and knowledgeable staff that are a real asset to the Camp; offering helpful suggestions on tour options and reliable advice on Livingstone town itself and more general safety and security.

I would have rated higher but the water pump went out on two separate days. I would have thought they would have called in a professional after day one rather than beating the side of the pump. hen we finally had water again ... it came out of the faucet dirty. On a positive note ... I have no idea what Helen is paid but it isn't enough. She makes everything work out. Easy to get reservations for day trips and is just generally one of the most friendly & helpful people I've met in Africa.

Very nice to get a free pickup from the airport in Livingsteone. The shuttle to the falls is to late to have at 11 am. At least one hour earlier would be good.

Unfortunately, the floors of the rooms were painted with a rust red paint that came off on one's feet, the sheets, anything that touched them. Very unpleasant! Furniture was rather worn. But the staff was outstanding - patient, very pleasant, efficient in arranging outings. Jollyboys was a bit far from shops to walk comfortably.
