This is literally a home-stay: would be good if one is looking for no more than a night's stay. It's quite a walk to downtown Johor Bahru but makes up for interestingly located close to the Royal Mausoleum. Would be nice if the place can be spruced up to be more homey & provide more information about Johor Bahru and Nusajaya.
Jomi Homestay is a homey bunk for the night with great wifi speed. That's all.. I really think the owner could tidy up the pace and fix a few small things and it would be a whole lot better. Cheep and cheerful.
Jomi Homestay was really cool, I met new friends and we went out to have dinner around there. It's a really nice place if you only need a place to sleep, take a shower, sit outside and drink some coffee, tea or water. They have maps for all Malaysia, and don't forget to bring an adapter to plug your charger if it is different from Malaysia.
Good for a local homestay - but there is a huge distance to everything... not good if carrying luggage! Stayed in a double room, which had room, ceiling fan and a locked door, very basic so good if you're travelling light and just need a bed to stay in and a friendly host! For the girls, bring along some toilet paper :)
