A houseboat is THE way to experience Amsterdam. Located near the train station. For those that partake in all festivities while in Amsterdam, having your own little place is highly recommended. In the future I will only stay at Jonas Houseboat!

Great experience & Very comfy for a boat! Take a bottle of wine and get up on the roof of the boat for a lovely picnic and watch the ducks swin by.

Staying at Jonas\' was delight from start to finish, the boat is situated just out of town about 10mins walk and is very peaceful. The facilities were great - Jonas stocked up the fridge with food and it was Help Yourself ! The rooms were clean, spacious and comfy! I will definitely be recommending Jonas\' to my friends and will certainly be back again!
My only regret is that we only saw Jonas once on arrival - i would have liked to sample some of Dam\'s finest with him! He\'s a top fellow!

Warm and inviting character. Perfectly situated. Wildlife on the water at your window, friendly, ducklings by the dozen.
A definate choice everytime!

Excellent change from hostels and hotels. Quiet location with a 10-15min walk to the central train station. Computer and Internet in the room is extremely convenient. The free DIY breakfast is the best we have encountered. Would definitely recommend for those wanting a quiet stay.

A great and peaceful place to stay.
Location is off the crowded places, nevertheless close to the central station (5min walk).
Jonas is a really friendly host, the rooms are very comfortable.
For couples or people with children this is the best place to go.
No drunks, no trouble, just a place to relax.

very comfy rooms...makes a nice change from a normal hostel stay. Also good kitchen facilities for those planning to cook their own meals :)
