Location was right on the center and the guy at the desk was really helpful and has good suggestions on where to go. Would stay again!

Amazing location and great deal (breakfast included - and it is very good/filling). Don't hesitate pulling the trigger. Definitely worth the slightly higher price, but a great deal if you take advantage of everything they offer. You might be able to get cheaper deals on the tours they offer, but theirs are competitively priced and convenient.

I was supposed to stay for 4 nights, but in the end I stayed for 14. The staff was super friendly and aleays willing to help, the location is good so is possible to walk to the mai attractions of Amman ( Jordan Museum, Citadel, Roman Theatre). Recommend it for sure! I just think that the tours are a bit overpriced.

This hostel was more than accommodating for me. I was staying here as I searched for an apartment. The staff were endlessly helpful with their guidance. The gentleman at the front desk speaks very good English and was eager to help translate my rent agreement and help with organizing my time here. Additionally, their prices for trips around the area are competitive. The facilities and my room were cleaned everyday. I would recommend this to any traveller passing through Jordan.

No free lockers -- you have to pay 1JD per day for them, and the keys are extremely fiddly. I hate when places don't just let you use your own lock! They also have a weird key situation for the dorms -- there is only one key for each room but they don't make it clear that you're supposed to return it to the desk, so someone is always running off with it. Why even have a key to a dorm then? The staff is friendly and try their best, but they're not that helpful. The breakfast is great though!

Clearly we failed to impress on this occasion.... however most hostels charge for locker use . I never found the locker key fiddly but anyway.. Regarding the key for the room. Most people know the drill, leave the key at reception before going out! most hotels request guests follow this rule, its expensive if you lose the key and you would have to pay for that. Plus the key is so you can lock from inside :) Regarding staff not helpful.?? we have the most helpful staff ever.. strange ..

Had a lovely stay :)

Perfect place to stay especially as a female backpacker. Dorm was spacious and well arranged with aircondition. Easy access to restaurants, sightseeing spots and downtown area. Also the reception can arrange you all the activities you want. And no worry about the security it is on the busy main street.

Great place to stay, great location. Tours are easily organised regularly. Rooms arebcleaned every day, interior is really good, and very nice place to stay. Only thing it lacks is a good common room. Food and drinks are for sale, and tv is available if needed (world, cup). Alcohol is however not sold. Brealfast is great, as is the staff.

Great staff, really friendly and really helpful, especially with transport and all the trips and tours they can arrange at a pretty competitive price. The rooms can be a bit noisy at night due to the traffic outside and the ramshackled windows, but otherwise the hostel is pretty good with the usual wifi, good breakfast and clean bathrooms.

Staff is very friendly and helpful. I was in a 3-bed dorm--had air conditioning. I was on the top (4th) floor and water pressure was sometimes lacking (could be an issue for flushing toilets) but hot water was abundant. The included breakfast is big, filling, and excellent! Definitely worth a bit of a premium over other places. Jordan Tower is a block from the Roman Theater, which is great if you want to be in that part of town. Just be aware that downtown is grittier than other areas.

Personable and helpful staff, and run by a lovely British lady who knows Amman very well. In terms of location you can't get any more central. Lounge area is good for hanging out and practising Arabic too. I'd definitely go back there.

The guy who checked me in was really nice and helpful. Its a basic hostel but would come again if I were to stay.

Jordan Tower is good in many ways but then ok in others. The staff were fantastic, really helpful especially with organising trips and taxi tours. The breakfast was good and the location is excellent, a short walk from the roman ampitheatre and downtown. It's lacking in terms of atmosphere as there's no 'fun' activities or a games room or anything like that but the help I received really made my stay. Thanks!

Nothing stood out. Nothing bad but nothing great either.

I've stayed at the Jordan Tower Hotel on two occasions and I think this place offers excellent value for your money. The rooms are simple but clean. They have A/C (at least the private rooms do). The breakfast is awesome and delicious. The location is smack down in the middle of downtown Amman, so the main attractions are within walking distance. The only drawback is that the constant traffic around the hotel creates a lot of noise, so light sleepers (like me) should definitely bring ear plugs.

Very impressed. Great common area. Wifi is temperamental but that's ok. Huge breakfast included and they really try to rearrange tours to suit all people to reduce the cost. Great hotel/hostel
