Being right in the middle of downtown Amman by the Roman theatre, you couldn't ask for a better location. They have reasonably priced tours everyday depending on depending on demand. The breakfast could have been better. Not very filling. The guys at the front are very knowledgeable in planning my trip. It was a bit cold in the dorm in January. I would have liked some extra blankets. The no alcohol thing was a bit annoying, but no biggie for a well-rounded hostel like this.

Its the first time anyone ever said our breakfast wasn't enough .. Because we serve the biggest breakfast - with no limits of any budget hotel,, maybe you should have asked for more ,,, likewise with the blankets - a simple request for another blanket or 2 or 3 would have sufficed.. we don't have a restriction but since the heating is on all night most people find the bed covers adequate.. Happy travels and remember if something isn't as you want ask the staff,,

No internet, tin the middle of the road. If I knew that the internte was so so slow I would choose this hotel, big drawback for traveller nowdays if you cant use interntet. The hotel is based between 2 streets in the valley so there is a problem with air pollution ( I cant imagine openning the window there in summer. Othrwise avarage hotel, with above average breakfast, good showers.

Thanks for taking the trouble to post your feedback which unfortunately is mostly negative. Regarding the internet, our internet is hi-speed internet so I can only assume you were trying to connect from your room which does have problems and we don't advise guests that we have internet in the room - just in the public areas - and the street cafe down below -so they don't get disappointed with a slow or disrupted connection. Its well known the hotel is located between 2 main streets and we make no secret of that, we always tell people we are smack bang in the middle and most people choose it because of that - with all the chaos, grime and pollution (which incidentally isn't worse than any other city) but I guess if one comes from a lovely green rural area then the comparison may be extreme. Most people appreciate the differences and actually enjoy the contrast of the shabby, laid back Downtown area when compared to the pristine rural towns and buildings of some other countries, which can also be boring and uncomfortable... Anyway, glad to hear you enjoyed the shower and appreciated the breakfast.

Really good and comfortable hotel, well located right in downtown Amman. The breakfast here is amazing, and included in your room fee. Definitely recommend.

Glad to hear you had a great time and enjoyed our breakfast - which definitely is the best breakfast in all budget hotels in Jordan :) Hope you come back and enjoy it once again.

Almost every backpacker experienced this central-located hostel with nice & reasonable restaurant. It's hard to find better choice in Amman, in fact. (I stayed 3 different places in Amman, but this is the best after all.) Strongly recommended.

Maybe we didnt make the point clear regarding shared bathrooms - there are 6 in total and guests can use anyone they like... other rooms have their own bathrooms so two bedrooms on each floor use the shared bathrooms.

A really lovely comfortable hostel. Comfortable beds in nice rooms, excellent breakfast spread, great helpful and friendly staff, good location downtown near restaurants, sweet shops and the citadel and amphitheatre. Bathrooms are small but it's really no problem. Nice common room with a good friendly atmosphere. One of the best hostels I've stayed at.

Over all it was a very nice stay. I was only there for about 13 hours due to an extended lay-over and it worked out great. The people there were very helpful and breakfast was lovely. I forewarn women, watch over yourself and try not to be alone for long with men while in Jordan. The people there are nice but if you are a westerner they may have muddled ideas about what is ok.

Great to hear you had a positive experience at our hotel and enjoyed your stay. I do want to point out however, that this review in no way refers to any man working at our hotel and its the first time I have ever heard anyone complain about such. Jordan is a safe place and our hotel definitely is a safe place . Being alone for a long period of time with a member of the opposite sex - who you don't know, can send the wrong signals in any country, depending on the circumstances,, so all travelers should exercise caution wherever they are, this is the basics of safe travel.

The bunk beds don't seem to be very secure and should probably be fixed before there is an accident!
