Location not really very near to mrt station but bus station is at downstairs. It's overall very convenient. Staff is friendly and the room is lovely. Good!

We were too scared to even knock on the door of this "hostel". It's on the 27th floor of a dingy block of flats and isn't even signposted. The door doesn't even have a sign and there was unread mail outside. It was very difficult to find- it took us 4 taxi journeys to eventually reach the right destination. We ended up having to stay somewhere else as we didn't feel safe nor comfortable going into Journey House where we had booked a night's stay.

In this hostel you never get what you booked. They serve you very bad. Also this hostel is not legal. I will never recommend this place to anybody.

The moment I entered the place I knew I will enjoy my stay. There is a sitting area with couches and photographs all over the walls, messages from all the people who have been there and every comment makes you feel this place is perfectly named as the Journey House. The staff is so friendly they ll be always ready to help. Every morning I ll ask them about the addresses and they will make maps for me. Also very interesting people and a lot of fun to talk to. Definitely coming back!!

The hostel was more than acceptable. It\'s easy to find, located near an accessible underground station, great value, & has a nice relaxed atmosphere. Security is nothing amazing but I had nothing valuable to lose. I\'d use it again without hesitation, & I\'d recommend it to anyone wanting to stay in 广州. It has an interesting roof top garden, the staff are welcoming & helpful, and it\'s location for getting around the city is great!

I had requested a single room. When I arrived, I was shown the last available single room with two full height glass walls on the roof. I really didn't care for it. They were accommodating to switch me to a dorm room and refund sone money. Very friendly English speaking staff. Cleanliness could use a little improvement. The location is excellent with nearby restaurants, food market, and transportation. The Metro does not start until 6:12AM, so take a taxi to the airport for early departure

Great hostel. I stayed here for a couple of nights. Greeat facilities and location. Small and cosy place, good for meeting solo travellers and real friendly, helpful staff too.

I had an excellent time, but it may have been easier for me than other travelers to find the place because I speak Chinese. More specific directions could be useful.

you book an 8 dorm room and you get A room for 11 people okay the staff will discount you for this(only if you ask!) "mistake" of there's but no one want's to go all the way and then only find out the information, at night its cold and they didn't turn on the heating, I didn't think the price is fair, I would not go there again, yes and no TV, and if you have no computer no internet, the location staff all the rest is great, what A shame, A place with great potential!!

A bit out of the way in a big city like Guangzhou, but the hostel more than made up for it by having very friendly staff (an English speaker on-site), an excellent security system (a lock on the front door of the building and individual lockers for each guest), and working internet.

Nice hostel, a little on the quiet side but besides that, the staff were excellent and fun to play darts with!

Addresses in China can be hard to find. This is one such. They could use an ASCII text map of where the building entrance is. I'm still there, I'll make one for them. Can't beat the price. On a bunch of transportation hubs. Internet invaluable. Shopping easy. Usually a number of helpful residents who can translate an address for you, write it in Mandarin (for cabbies), or tell you where a bookstore is. Great place.
