I have been there before and there was too much noise on Saturday night at the bar. They have definitely changed their attitude and quiet is the word. Besides many rooms/facilities have been repainted. Finally showers seem cleaner than what they used to be. I recommend it.

Staff is really helpful, good location (many access ways- bus, DLR), place felt really secure, free lockers under bed, EXCELLENT bed mattress, good breakfast, perhaps the only minus is no kitchen or at least a microwave in a common room. I would definitely recommend this place to everyone.

Staff was unfriendly if u are a guy (and not a girl of course). At night the reception closes whenever suits the guy who pretends he works there.

The hostel has a good atmosphere, the rooms are comfy and the staff were quite helpful. Sometimes cleanliness in the bathrooms was an issue, but overall we got what we paid for and enjoyed our stay.

If you're looking for the cheapest than this is okay. Don't expect anything, no atmosphere, staff that don't have time for you, and always feel like your an inconvenience. A lot of the bigger dorms are full of permanent people, and a few treated us like we weren't welcome there. Beds are clean, Wi-Fi is good, and free breakfast was pretty good too. Toast, cereal, tea coffee. Really good security too.

One of the best hostels I've stayed at in a while. The staff here are lovely. The hostel is clean and well run. There is a small kitchen, laundry machine and even an iron.
