Average. No kitchen. Never any soap in the bathrooms >:( Moldy bread for breakfast, but they had Nutella. Good sized lockers. Location is kinda ghetto. It is a few streets down from the busy street.

The location is not great. I personally didn't like the neighbourhood atmosphere that much. Locker in my room didn't lock...so i couldn't use it. Told the staff, they said they would fix it, but they didn't. Still, the staff was good, they are helpful when answering questions. Clean i guess. But showers were SO small. I didn't feel very safe here, and the pub downstairs didn't contribute to make that better. There were some very strange people around sometimes. It didn't fulfil my expectations.

The staff are friendly but the rooms are infested with BED BUGS, myself and other guests in various rooms had bites all over their bodies. The manager seemed concerned but as you can see from other reviews nothing is being done except repeated apologies and hollow promises. There is no sense of pride for the upkeep drywall drilled onto the ceiling, carpet is dirty and peeling back on floors, cluttered rooms, the bar downstairs is frequented by homeless people and the music is vintage. The surrounding area i

Firstly, the hostel is not at all situated in Greenwich, but in Deptford, which is very different. Secondly, there is a pub directly under the hostel which has extremely loud music until midnight every night, and 3 or even 5am on weekends. The free earplugs provided by reception are not much help. There are only 4 toilets and showers available for the whole hostel. Everything else is adequate for a short stay, if you are only looking for a place to sleep. If you expect more, look elsewhere

It's in the slums and not a friendly place. They play music on weekends all night and even if you have earplugs the vibrations from the bass will keep you up since it shakes the whole building. Some of the "long-term" residents there are very loud and lack basic manners. Several problems with bookings. The wi-fi is among the best I've used in a hostel and the breakfast is varied.

Finding the hostel was awful, I called 3 times and the lady was not helpful. It turns out it was not far from the station, it was just not well signaled. The first impression was not good, but after I got to the rooms it was not that bad. The location was ok. It was 7min away from london bridge. The bathrooms were clean and the rooms were ok

Very loud music on Friday and Saturday night in the bar below. The waitress was asked to put the music less louder, she didn't and we were advised to go to sleep somewhere else in London. Fortunately we were given another room on Saturday,so we nearly didn't hear anything. But on Friday night we slept only about 4 hours and the behaviour of the waitress was just disaster. Warm water was only in 2 out of 4 showers...

This hostel is ok, pretty clean and the location is not too bad with a good connection to the inner city (but consider that there's nothing to do in the neighborhood). It was social too, if you like hanging out in common areas drinking beer. Guess there are more fun hostels for the same price which are closer to the city. Otherwise not bad.

Nothing but awful things about this hostel! I was forced to pay for two night even though I got out of there in the morning. The room was disgusting, the area was scary! As a single female traveler I was scared. The wifi and Internet on their computer didn't work so I had no way to get a hold of anyone, the ladders on the room are not attached to the bottom bunk so they swing, the bathrooms are nasty, the rooms have a keypad so the rooms are not safe at all. Music was on until 5am. Don't do it!

Kitchen and facilities were fine, but rooms were overcrowded and people there was not really reliable. It makes the stay pretty uncomfortable. There is not enough space for luggage.

Pretty good for the price. The one downer was that there was no soap in the toilets.

It is a little far out, but transportation into the city is easy and worth the amount that you save by staying outside of central london. Journeys is also walking distance from Greenwich which is a pretty cool town and home to the Prime Meridian, a cool thing to see. The hostel is clean, the staff is nice, and there is enough space to chill in the evening. Overall a good choice.

One word.....LOUD! At least the check in guy warned about the loud dub reggae music that would be playing for the two nights of our stay, and in fairness, it was New Years Eve. Luckily, we were so tired from our own events that the noise did not make so much of a difference. Facilities were ok, bathroom a little messy, security was good and the 24 hour access via a coded door was a nice addition. Breakfast was fairly basic, but thats London, innit Not one for those of a sensitive disposition.

Overall we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Hostel. Although, on Fridays and Saturdays they have parties with very loud music that is hard to sleep through. The facilities are clean, the food is good, and overall we had an extremely comfortable stay.
