Average. No kitchen. Never any soap in the bathrooms >:( Moldy bread for breakfast, but they had Nutella. Good sized lockers. Location is kinda ghetto. It is a few streets down from the busy street.

Dear guest, Thanks for leaving comment, we do have hand wash in the bathroom, and our breakfast is not that bad, we do also offer breakfast in the bar. In regards to the location, we cant really do anything about it but our building is covered with CCTV. But having said that, we are sorry you didn't enjoy your stayed as should have, we promised it will be better next time

The location is not great. I personally didn't like the neighbourhood atmosphere that much. Locker in my room didn't lock...so i couldn't use it. Told the staff, they said they would fix it, but they didn't. Still, the staff was good, they are helpful when answering questions. Clean i guess. But showers were SO small. I didn't feel very safe here, and the pub downstairs didn't contribute to make that better. There were some very strange people around sometimes. It didn't fulfil my expectations.

The staff are friendly but the rooms are infested with BED BUGS, myself and other guests in various rooms had bites all over their bodies. The manager seemed concerned but as you can see from other reviews nothing is being done except repeated apologies and hollow promises. There is no sense of pride for the upkeep drywall drilled onto the ceiling, carpet is dirty and peeling back on floors, cluttered rooms, the bar downstairs is frequented by homeless people and the music is vintage. The surrounding area i

Thanks for booking with us, to our surprise, as soon as the issue of bed bug was brought to our attention, the pest control company treated all the rooms. Also contrary to the fact that we don't take pride in the cleaning of the hostel, that is so untrue, we have cleaners working around the clock in the hostel. Also with the issue of room being clustered, all the room have lockers provided which are free as well, so we can't really control what goes on in the room if the guest decided not to use them. We have closed the bar downstairs now, just for resident only, so i guess when next you visit, it will better place.

Firstly, the hostel is not at all situated in Greenwich, but in Deptford, which is very different. Secondly, there is a pub directly under the hostel which has extremely loud music until midnight every night, and 3 or even 5am on weekends. The free earplugs provided by reception are not much help. There are only 4 toilets and showers available for the whole hostel. Everything else is adequate for a short stay, if you are only looking for a place to sleep. If you expect more, look elsewhere

It's in the slums and not a friendly place. They play music on weekends all night and even if you have earplugs the vibrations from the bass will keep you up since it shakes the whole building. Some of the "long-term" residents there are very loud and lack basic manners. Several problems with bookings. The wi-fi is among the best I've used in a hostel and the breakfast is varied.

Dear guest, Thanks for leaving comment for us, we have now closed the bar downstairs, and is only going to be just for the guest. The issue of the area, but I totally disagree because the hostel is based in Zone 2 in London bridge, just 5 mins on train, 15 mins on bus ride to famous tower bridge, walking distance to Greenwich park. London is a multicultural city that you have people from different part of the world. Also with the issue problem with your booking, it was a software error, and as soon as we realised the error, we gave you the refund back . but I believe when next time you come back to London, the hostel will be better place to stay

Finding the hostel was awful, I called 3 times and the lady was not helpful. It turns out it was not far from the station, it was just not well signaled. The first impression was not good, but after I got to the rooms it was not that bad. The location was ok. It was 7min away from london bridge. The bathrooms were clean and the rooms were ok

Very loud music on Friday and Saturday night in the bar below. The waitress was asked to put the music less louder, she didn't and we were advised to go to sleep somewhere else in London. Fortunately we were given another room on Saturday,so we nearly didn't hear anything. But on Friday night we slept only about 4 hours and the behaviour of the waitress was just disaster. Warm water was only in 2 out of 4 showers...

Dear guest, we are very sorry for the issue of noise, it has finally been address now, we have closed the bar, just been used as resident only .we checked our record on the day you checked in, there was no complain about shower are not working properly, I believe next time you visit, it will be a pleasant stay

This hostel is ok, pretty clean and the location is not too bad with a good connection to the inner city (but consider that there's nothing to do in the neighborhood). It was social too, if you like hanging out in common areas drinking beer. Guess there are more fun hostels for the same price which are closer to the city. Otherwise not bad.

Nothing but awful things about this hostel! I was forced to pay for two night even though I got out of there in the morning. The room was disgusting, the area was scary! As a single female traveler I was scared. The wifi and Internet on their computer didn't work so I had no way to get a hold of anyone, the ladders on the room are not attached to the bottom bunk so they swing, the bathrooms are nasty, the rooms have a keypad so the rooms are not safe at all. Music was on until 5am. Don't do it!

Owner Comment (Show)
Dear Guest, thanks for booking with us, we didn't force you to leave , you only paid for the days that you booked for. so we haven't done anything wrong. The other issue that you are talking about is so untrue, the internet and the computer are working fine, the issue of cleaning is very strange as well, because we have cleaners working round on shift basis. The issue of music has been addressed totally, because we have closed the bar downstairs now, is just for guest only, begin used as our common room now. You also complained about your bunk bed, I believe you should have gone to the reception to complain, and I believe the staff on duty would have dealt with it for you. there was no record of that complained being brought to us. but I believe next time you visit, it will be a better place.

Kitchen and facilities were fine, but rooms were overcrowded and people there was not really reliable. It makes the stay pretty uncomfortable. There is not enough space for luggage.

It is a little far out, but transportation into the city is easy and worth the amount that you save by staying outside of central london. Journeys is also walking distance from Greenwich which is a pretty cool town and home to the Prime Meridian, a cool thing to see. The hostel is clean, the staff is nice, and there is enough space to chill in the evening. Overall a good choice.

One word.....LOUD! At least the check in guy warned about the loud dub reggae music that would be playing for the two nights of our stay, and in fairness, it was New Years Eve. Luckily, we were so tired from our own events that the noise did not make so much of a difference. Facilities were ok, bathroom a little messy, security was good and the 24 hour access via a coded door was a nice addition. Breakfast was fairly basic, but thats London, innit Not one for those of a sensitive disposition.

Overall we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Hostel. Although, on Fridays and Saturdays they have parties with very loud music that is hard to sleep through. The facilities are clean, the food is good, and overall we had an extremely comfortable stay.
