Essentially your average hostel with a few negative points that really stand out, unfortunately. For starters, I found some of the staff to be a bit too indifferent for my tastes - but in all fairness it could be due to stress and whatnot. Furthermore, the cleanliness of the rooms left a bit to be desired as much of the linen was quite worn, plus my bed had a couple of chewing gums plastered alongside of it. The kitchen and main hall were very, very sticky.

The beds were very clean and having curtains around them is brilliant! However, the basement / kitchen smelled like mildew.

Just a little backpackers\' hostel you can find anywhere in the world, but still lovely in its own way, and does everything right. Especially for this price. I can only recommend it.

Staff was lackluster at best. The rooms were packed with beds. Half the time I was there the bathrooms, etc. were out of order. It wasn't necessarily cheap for what we got. It didn't feel secure.

Showers are terrrrrrrrible. No water pressure and only stay on for 10 seconds then you have to keep pushing a button. Nowhere to put your clothes. Wifi is really good. The whole hostel is very small, kitchen cramped. If you have a room upstars it is a pain in the arse to keep having to walk down three flights of stairs to get to the lockers, none in the room. Powerpoint and light next to the bed is good. Bunks very small

Great location, just a few minutes\' walk away from King\'s Cross station, which is helpful if you have a train that leaves before public transportation starts running. Hostel was nice. My only complaint was that it was quite loud until late at night.

I was in a bunk bed, where i had to squeeze through ladders to get in to my bottom bunk. When i switched on my light, it had a red label saying "do not use". With a room of 12 and everyone having bags, i had to sleep with mine on the bed, as there was no room on the floor to safely do store them.

The hostel was in a good location near a lot of places to eat. It was also only a few blocks from an Underground station. The kitchen gets crowded very easily. Bunk beds are three high so if someone moves on the top the middle shakes a lot so try to be on top or bottom if you are in a dorm. WiFi was strong even though I was on the top floor. I would recommend the place but you can get a place for a few Pounds fewer if price is whats most important to you.

I was told that I could no use the Womens showers and to go downstairs to use the unisex bathroom because they were putting chemicals on the womens showers floor. This was at 9am in the morning so why they decided to do it then, beats me. The sinks were to small to wash your face in them, ended up with water all over the floor. The staff were not helpful. When I first walked in, sweating and tired and with a heavy backpack, the guy at the front told me to hold on while he talked with someone.
