quite spartan facilities for the dorms with a lot of beds... but we paid for that! lacking the hot water on the first floor, what result in lines for taking a shower... Bunks were comfortable and supplied with fresh clean sheets. Staff were helpful and friendly and the premises were clean. Toilets were a pain for the blokes as the loo seats did not stay up!!! We stayed in room 13 and the security look was difficult to work, even the cleaner failed to open it at one stage. Overall Journeys London Eye offers fantastic value for money, ThanksBunks were comfortable and supplied with fresh clean sheets. Staff were helpful and friendly and the premises were clean. I dont know why this hostel the number one is.. I read it in its webpage, but it doesn't deserve this name! It was the only reason I choose the hostel, but I wont believe something like that again.. Mi sheets were not clean, I couldn't sleep because of a sound in the dormitory, the breakfast was terrible because it was a small kitchen and it was narrow and dirty.. there is nothing to do, it's enough to be one night in emergency case, but I would choose another one..I dont know why this hostel the number one is.. the showers were broken, either no water, low pressure or no hot water for most of my stay. On my first night at the hostel, thieves robbed six or so people while they slept. The staff is the high point of the hostl. Marta, Dave, and Dan are great people and do the hostel a real service.
