Awful! The guy who ran the place was a bit of a nutter and resolved problems by shouting at guests. The bar was dimly lit and looked intimidating when you first go in. None of the reading lights or power points worked, and the stove had come apart so when you open the oven door you burn yourself. I think it was the unfriendly unhelpful guy that was the main problem. On the plus side, they had a code for the main hostel area, and for your dorm which they changed everyday, so security was good.

There was not a shelf where you could put your towel or change of clothes in the showers. The floor outside of the shower was wet and nasty so putting your clothes on the floor was not a good idea. People left their stuff everywhere in the room. It was very unclean. The lockers are very small. My room had a broken window that flew open and closed throughout the night. Staff wasn't very knowledgeable about the lock codes to the rooms and wi-fi password. They had to ask 3 different people to help.

Everything was filthy and stunk. None of the electrical outlets or bed lamps worked. I could not get a refund easily. I had to email the main office and wait until Monday to get a response. Out of the four nights I booked, I only stayed one.

I stayed at the hostel in the female dorm for four nights. The heating didn't work and it was snowing outside. You couldn't lock your locker and most of the plugs didn't work. The shower was clean with warm water, however the toilets and the sinks weren't clean. Wifi was okey. The location was good, near a tube station with frequent connection, ca. 5 min to embankment. If you keep your valuables with you and only go there for the nights it's a okey cheap hostel to stay. However, I won't go again

For what I wanted (a cheap bed in London) it was fine. However, the plug socket by my bed didn't work, so I had to charge my laptop and such in the living room. The blind on my bed was broken so I barely got any sleep due to one of the lights not having been switched off. Wifi strength was poor up stairs. Showers weren't incredibly clean. Towels were rentable...but there wasn't always towels available. Lockers didn't shut properly, holes weren't big enough to put a padlock through them.
