This hostel is filled with groups of children. If you want to have holidays with them running around you, go here! The breakfast was very good tho. The wifi was only in a room and it was not very strong. There was a computer which was not working for the whole 4 days I was there.

I would recommend this hostel to anyone staying in Salzburg. It was very easy to get to from the train station and was within walking distance of the city center. My only complaint were that the bathroom facilities were a little musty, but besides that, it was a great, clean hostel!

the breakfast was really rich and the time slot is good! The place was clean and neat. Very gooood hostel!

Had a great stay here. Love the huge Buffett breakfast and the fact that they screen sound of music nightly. Only con is there is no ventilation in the bathroom so it has a moldy smell but clean facilities!

Great hostel, staff very helpful and friendly. Didn´t like the fact that the rooms are so small and you can have to leave your bag outside in a locker, also didn´t like that there was only one or two power sockets in the room. It was very difficult to charge any of my devices as they were already being used for the whole time I was there.

It's a little difficult to get to the hostel if you aren't familiar with how to use busses. The breakfast is good and the rooms are very very clean. However, there was only one outlet for six people and one toilet for upwards of twelve. The tall blond guy at the reception was down right rude and snappy with us. It just had more of a hotel vibe instead of a hostel. They also are way understaffed (we had to deal with the angry and rude blond guy at all hours).

Close to the main sites. Friendly staff. Huge place (as others have mentioned more like a hotel) so not great for hanging out. Breakfast is great.

Value for money, facilities, cleanliness are best!!!! Wonderful breakfast!!! Cool!!:) I want to come back here! Highly recommend!! But roommates were terrible:( Woke up early 5am, keep talking! Snoring and weird saying...

We stayed in this Hostel second time....Alles perfekt.

Staff were confusing - we were told our dorm room would be ready by 3pm but then at 5pm they said it still hadn't been made up or cleaned. Most of the staff members were friendly except one who was quite grumpy and unhelpful. The bathrooms could do with being cleaned more regularly. Breakfast was good and the 8 bed dorm was spacious.

Nicole was awesome! She was the most helpful staff person I have ever met at a hostel! This is a pretty great hostel, although our room was basically never locked, and there were some interesting characters hanging around (but it's not like the hostel can do anything about who comes to stay). All in all a good place. Breakfast was wonderful, and you're pretty close to the city center. Also, Salzburg is a beautiful place! Enjoy it!

The rooms are fairly clean and the location safe. The absolute main appeal of this Hotel is the breakfast - it's HUGE and all you can eat (for lunch and dinner as well if you steal a few sandwiches for later). The bathroom had no soap for the during of my stay (four days), and the place is extremely understaffed (at the front desk). If you'd like them to play "The Sound of Music" for you, you need to ask for them to set it up.

This was more of a breeding ground for school groups than an actual hostel. I was put in a dorm room in the basement where there were only 2 outlets in the entire room despite the fact that 12 people were staying there. So I would go upstairs and sit in the lobby to charge things and use the internet, but this was not only annoying in and of itself, but all the school children were always running around making noise. The bathroom also smelled disgusting. It made me not want to take a shower.

Starting with the positive, the dorms are comfortable and this hostel has plenty of facilities (although don't expect to get any of them for free). Unfortunately, there was an incident during my stay and the way it was dealt with by staff was absolutely appalling. I returned on the last night to find I (and all my stuff) had been moved without my knowledge or consent and I was then downgraded to a 12 bed dorm. In credit, I got a full refund but this incident really ruined my stay here.

Everything was good! Specially, my suitcase was broken when I came to hostel. One of staffes helped me to fix it. Unfortunately, it could not fix but I impressed to them. Thanks a lot:)

Great breakfast, spotty wifi, not enough bathrooms (but they were most certaily clean), loved that they played The Sound of Music every night at 8pm!! Totally worth the stay and I would stay here again for sure!

a very nice place to stay in Salzburg! you can practically walk into the town centre by foot in 5 mins! nice facilities, big parking lot, nice chaps at the reception...i would definitely recommend it!

I was very impressed with how the hostel was kept up. Our door was not working very well, but that is my only complaint. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. I would stay there again in the future.

The staff had a tendency to be rude. Better customer service skills would be appreciated. Not ideal for a backpacker as the hostel had lots of children running around in the foyer area which is the only area where you can use the internet. On the plus side, the free breakfast is amazing with hot food!! The hostel is very clean with comfortable beds.

it is a pleasant atmosphere there. and the buffet breakfast is very good. It's worth the amount we pay
