Overall very nice place with great breakfast included and optional, excellent value lunches and dinners. Can\'t beat the location, just a few minutes walk from the Alstadt and easy bus transfers to the Hbf. They really need to expand the front desk and have more staff working during busy periods. The overly cramped basement dorms and bathrooms could each use about a gallon of disinfectant as well as a ventilation fan. Really foul.

The location is not so good. It's a little bit far away from train station. But inside the hostel, it's clean. The staff seems busy all the time. You cannot get much information from them. The breakfast is good, it's all you can eat.

The reception area was ridiculous. There was a class of screaming students running around until 11:30pm. The receptionists had trouble hearing their phone calls because of it. SOMEONE needs to at least indicate that there are other people in the hostel and that behavior is unacceptable. Also we were told we could probably stay for a second night, then were screwed over when we couldn't and had to leave the city because all hostels were booked. Though staff tried to help us.

Jufa Salzburg is not a party hostel by any stretch of the imagination, but it is clean, the wifi in the lobby is great, your stuff is secure and the breakfasts are decent. It's about a 10-15 minute walk from the hostel to all of the major tourist attractions and there is a bus stop close by if you want to take transit.

This place was so clean. I stayed one night in an 8 bed dorm and then shared a twin room with my friend for the second night. There was only one other person in the dorm room, but it was quite a large room and I think even with 8 people there would be plenty of space for luggage. The lockers are really big, but you need to have a 2 euro coin to use, which you get back when you open the locker. All the staff that I talked to were really helpful and friendly. The breakfast was good too!

Great hostel in Salzburg. Only a 10 minute walk to old town, quick bus ride to train station. Breakfast is included, rooms are clean and dorm style bathrooms so no waiting in long lines or for your roommates. Staff was very helpful and friendly. Also, laundry facilities there which is always nice, only 3 euro for wash and dry. Totally recommend.

Not much of a hostel, more like a huge hotel. The internet was down most of the time we were there. Thank goodness we didn't need it to book anything while on our trip. There was always a queue at the bar and front desk and they didn't seem to have enough staff. The part I missed most about being in an actual hostel was some of the free stuff.....hot pot or kitchen or coffee.....not to mention staff that can give you information on seeing the sights cheaply.....

really nice staff, great breakfast selection (as well as dinner option). location good not too far from the old town. a lot of school groups stay here and families, so different vibe for sure. would be nice to have internet in the rooms. sound of music every night, but sometimes too noisy to hear, maybe screen it in an enclosed room?

The hostel is nice and offer a great breakfast, otherwise its not that close to the Old town and downtown. My first impression about the staff was bad 'cause when I arrived a girl that works at the reception wasn't friendly at all, but after knowing the other employees, I changed my first idea.

Plus: The location is good, the facilities are great...and clean, the breakfast was nice and filling, there is good space to chill out in the evenings without having your personal space intruded on, like in other hostels Negative: the rooms were a bit too small with hardly any space between the row of beds Overall great value for money, would definitely recommend

It is a large hotel. If you want to meet fellow travellers, it is probably not the best option. A 10minute walk to the city centre, but quite far from the train station. Staff were helpful and nice. Breakfast was good.
